I purchased a insulated bottle through takealot and paud R275. After 1 month the very flimsy cap strap broke off. I send it back for replacement/refund. They informed my they cant as it was due to misuse. I corresponded with them sending reviews from other customers complaining about the same problem. I was informed that they will take it up with the company who made it..... next moment I receive it back (the broken one) This is due to substandard pro**** not misuse. I have had plenty of the same kind of bottles and never had anything brake on it. Now they are ignoring me.

Spoke to Mandy Manning regarding updating of my policy and adding a new vehicle. She was not only friendly, she new how to do her job, she made jokes that I really appreciated seeing that our world is harsh enough. She made me laugh allot without her sounding like she doesn't know her work. Really enjoyed talking to her. Congrats to King Price for hiring her.
We needed a new paid up letter as the one we received was with a incorrect account number, we phoned the debt review department and was assisted by Mia. Thank you for excellent service in providing the letter while we where on the line and send to us immediately.

JOHN'S ENGINE & GEARBOX, 231 Commissioner St, Boksburg, 1459, South Africa, j.mavro@mweb.co.za, 011 892 4746. We purchased a engine and gearbox from John and when we got to install the engine saw that it was not working properly. Phoned John and went back to them, we decided not to take another engine and asked if we could get our money back. John had no problem and did the refund immediately and it showed in our account 2 days later. Had a lot of problems with other companies in the last year but can assure any one buying from them that they are awesome.
WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!! THIS COMPANY IS VERY BAD. Took my vehicle - Ford Fiesta 1.6 to Diesel Tech father Martin son JJ quote me R9000 to overhaul the engine, paid R4500 deposit on 14 October 2019. 25 October he lets me know the engine will be ready on the 29 October. Paid the rest of the money in. 31 October engine is not ready some problem, they will bring the engine on Monday 4 November. excuses for not bringing the engine. 8 November I told him to meet me at the shop on Sunday I will come and collect, said yes but when we got there, no one there and he is not picking up his phone. Phoned his son he said the engine is not ready he is still waiting for seals. 19 November got the engine from JJ but no dipstick, ask where it is, they dont know will get me another one and courier it to me. 22 November when we unwrapped the engine both the cam sensors is broken, asked Martin about it... he will get second hand for us. Kept letting me know that the people is bringing him the wrong parts. 2 December started looking for the parts myself and send him the contact details of a company that has the sensors. 5 December he lets me know he does not have money to buy the sensors R950.00 but he is waiting for money. 9 December I offered to pay for one just so that I can get the car fixed. 17 December and nothing. I was unable to get the parts second hand so had to buy new ones for R2500. Put everything together and put water in.... water leaking at the thermostat holder, take it out NO SEALER.. put sealer in and put back, put water in again leaking at the head.... Ask Martin about it and told him about the leak at the thermostat and tell him he needs to come to my house to fix the car. Martin tells me I need to take out the engine and bring it to him... it cost me R2000 every time I take out or put in the engine. Explain to him that I dont trust him and that with everything broken on the engine I cant give him the engine again, who knows what we will be getting back. He said sorry that is the guarantee rules. He will not come out and see what is wrong. If I dont bring him the engine then there is no guarantee. Now had to take it to another person to fix. DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE!!!!
