I have always had my VW serviced at Barons Tokai only because it is close to my house. I never had serious problems with them but their communication was always poor. My car now has a major fault so I tried to book it in with them and they said they are fully booked for the next month and I must go elsewhere. What made me angry was their attitude after years of supporting them. Their attitude was more like, we have no interest in your problem, we are not even going to try and help you, do not phone us again and go else where. So that is exactly what we are going to do and advising everybody else not to support them.
I have posted about this company before and how bad they are. Recently they sent me numerous mails about how my aircon unit is up for a service and I must contact them to schedule a time, this is after I had to get another company in to repair their bad workmanship. Their are no words strong enough to describe how bad Coolpress are, they should not be in business because they are basically ripping the public off. DO NOT use them and do not believe the 5 star ratings they receive here, I do not believe it is possible.
I would not recommend this company unless you have plenty of time on your hands. Firstly their time keeping is terrible, not arriving when agreed with no call to let you know and changing of dates. Then they kept on wanting to schedule installation for 17:00 in the evening. Secondly the installation quality is shocking and I mean shockingly bad. It might be better if you have time to watch them continuously so they do not take all the short cuts they do. Even with the bad installation it took them over 4 hours so if they had started at 17:00 they would of been working well after 20:00 at night and I can't even imagine what the quality of the installation would of been then, If you want the best price then use them but be prepared for shocking work and bad time keeping.
In 2019 we saved up for an overseas holiday in 2020 and we booked through Vitality which I did not realise at the time would be through Holiday Travel. Unfortunately we all know what happened in 2020 and we were given the option of a full refund or keep the tickets and delay the travel. Hoping it would pass but also to ease the financial burden on the travel industry we decided to delay the tickets. Now I am requesting a refund and after an initial positive response from Holiday Travel saying it would take a few months, we are now going onto a year. E-mails to Ngwako Tsetsewa go unanswered or I receive a standard reply of I will get back to you which they never do. It is simple, they have taken money, said they would refund which they are not doing so basically they are a scam travel agent like so many others. Nobody there has the decency to reply or do there job properly, but I suppose as scammers they are **** their job properly.
I recently needed some paving work done and on recommendation contacted SA Paving and was not disappointed. The team arrived on site and did an amazing job and a lot faster then I expected making sure that they left the site clean after they had finished. I highly recommend them for any paving work big or small. #WIN
Signed up for fibre, installation and technicians did a very good job. The fee was a debit order and after a month realised no debit ordered for the service had been taken. Left it for 3 months as I thought it might be some sort of special but then after 4 months knew something was wrong. E-mailed my account manage a number of times asking them to look into and did not even get a response. After 1 year of no debit order and numerous attempts they realised THEIR problem. I explained the situation to them and my attempts to resolve it. I knew I had to pay but told them I could not pay a whole year in one month, I was promised that they would deduct it over a number of months.....surprise, the very next month a whole year of service was deducted in one lump sum. As a show of goodwill they could of at least given a month for free since it was their fault and I had tried to resolve it, they not only did not do it they also lied so they could grab the money as soon as they could. I would love to have a job where I can mess up, lie and still get all the money. Is good service so hard to get these days.
Made the rookie mistake of signing up for something over the phone, the salesman mislead me so when I received the product it was not what I was expecting, tried to take advantage of the 14 day return policy but just got bumped from one person to the next. Was eventually told that they would collect but it would take 3 months but was still paying for it, nobody came to collect. For my sanity I just waited out the 2 year contract plan, near the end of contract end date I called to make sure it would not automatically roll over and promised it would not. Surprise, surprise the contract has ended but they still charging me the same amount. All over these providers are no different to thieves stealing from you, yet they can get away with it.
