Holiday Travel - DO NOT USE: Another Scam Travel Agent
In 2019 we saved up for an overseas holiday in 2020 and we booked through Vitality which I did not realise at the time would be through Holiday Travel. Unfortunately we all know what happened in 2020 and we were given the option of a full refund or keep the tickets and delay the travel. Hoping it would pass but also to ease the financial burden on the travel industry we decided to delay the tickets. Now I am requesting a refund and after an initial positive response from Holiday Travel saying it would take a few months, we are now going onto a year. E-mails to Ngwako Tsetsewa go unanswered or I receive a standard reply of I will get back to you which they never do. It is simple, they have taken money, said they would refund which they are not doing so basically they are a scam travel agent like so many others. Nobody there has the decency to reply or do there job properly, but I suppose as scammers they are **** their job properly.

False promises
Before covid we purchased tickets to travel overseas for 6 people. It has been almost 2 years and we have not been able to use our tickets. When contacting holiday travel they assured us they could refund us and it would take a maximum of 16 wks. We received our reference number but since then no communication and when you can phone the call gets disconnected. Be very careful dealing with this company as we have lost a lot of money due to their false promises

False promises

Lack of contact from Holiday Travel - COVID travel restrictions
Company name: Holiday travel / Contact number: 0112853030 Address: Fortress St & Whirlwind St,Rhodesfield, Kempton Park,South Africa or 156 Bram Fischer Dr, Randburg, South Africa Due to COVID restrictions in 2020 our flight tickets were placed on hold and a voucher was then set up for 760 days by Lazelle one of the companies agents. We have been trying for the last few months to get hold of Lazelle or someone at Holiday travel to get an update on our booking that was made via vitality for an overseas trip. To date no one at the office returns your emails or responds to the "contact us" form enquiries. When you call they don't answer or the call gets dropped.. We are worried that we will be loosing our money in respect of the flights that was paid. At least if someone can contact us - and let us know what is happening.

I get that we cant control the COVID issue. The problem I have is that Holiday Travel is not willing to refund us, or wont. They also wont tell us what the plan is with the outstanding money. I have been trying to get answers since October last year, unfortunately nobody responds. Do yourself a favour, book your flights your self, it is now worth the hassle of this company!!!!!!!!!!

Poor service at Holiday Travel
Firstly took me over 20 minutes on hold. Secondly I am disappointed at the service, Laezelle the consultant said she would get back to me and she did not, I have emailed two follow up emails and no reply. Thirdly quite disappointed that I am a vitality member trying to book a flight for British airways and the consultant says they cannot find my id number on the system, are you kidding me, I even sent my vitality membership certificate for proof. I am losing out on 35% discount as I am a diamond vitality member. I eventually paid the normal price and made my own booking to fly to PE. I am quite disappointed, I would actually like a 35% refund for my ticket that I have bought, as I am paying for a service that I cannot use. Lastly, i told the consultant to contact vitality to see what is going on and until this day no feedback

Holiday Travel has a very bad communication network.
I have been dealing with a lady from 'Holiday Travel' for over a year now. She has been helpful up until this point. She said I could receive a full refund on my overseas trip, if I send my details through, I sent in details and have not heard back from her in over two weeks. I called earlier in the week, I dealt with a lady who was not so pleasant to deal with or didn't know much about her the company she works with, I called just before 16:00pm during the week, and every customer service person was off and went home before the time they advertise. Every one was off work by 4pm - I'm sure even earlier. Today I try call again, their phone lines or emergency lines do not work anymore and "no longer exist" Does this company still exist? Have all their employees left?
