17 June 2025 - Requested to upgrade my current package. Document completed and sent back. 24 June 2025 - Requested an update. Person that helped me resigned so my request was dead in the water. 9 July 2025 - Called to find out what is happening. Sent a new document as the first one was apparently an older version of the doc. New document sent back. 10 July 2025 - Follow up. No feedback. Waiting for finance. 11 July 2025 - Promised to receive the invoice to kick-start the upgrade process. Follow up - no feedback. 15 July 2025 - Follow up - no feedback. No invoice received. 16 July 2025 - Request to cancel my service. 17 July 2025 - Invoice suddenly received. 18 July 2025 - Paid the invoice, giving Gosolr the benefit of the doubt. Call received that payment has been received and that an installer will contact me. 29 July 2025 - Follow up. No feedback. Radio silence. I am yet again at the point where I want to cancel my service and want a full refund of the monies paid for the upgrade. I fail to understand how basic communication (even if it is not great news) is just neglected. I have also requested that they need to ensure they do not bill me upgraded fees for equipment I have not even received yet. I strongly advise against using their service. (Even through this terrible experience, at least Jason D was trying to assist me)

Recently had my Solar installed by GoSolr and was really impressed by the very quick turn-around time in getting this done. From order to installation under 3 days. Unfortunately, I recently experienced outages during load-shedding and had to get in contact with the technical support team. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Encrico and Vaughan who tried everything in their power to assist me remotely. Ranging from video calls and frequent updates via WhatsApp. Note once did I feel like I am being ignored or that my problem is not being attended to. Ultimately, due to the video calls, it was discovered that there were some technical challenges that had to be attended to immediately due to potential safety and hazard risks. Within minutes a team was dispatched to my place (yes, at 20:00 in the evening!). The issue was resolved, double-checked, validated, and completed. I am really impressed with the after-sales support, the technical support, the technical team, and my overall experience with GoSolr. Thank you again Enrico and Vaughan for truly shining client satisfaction!
<p>I regret every day the choice I made to move to You&Me Mobile. I have ported my number overv to them and eventually decided to cancel my "contract" with them. They were all too happy to take as much money as they could from me, failing in providing any form of a service, and now that I am trying to get away from them, they are NON existent! NONE of their call center numbers work and if you do get through, the system goes into an infinate loop asking you the same options over and over. So I used the contact form on their website and NOBODY is getting back to me. I have lodged about 10 messages asking for assistance in getting my number released so that I can move to another network and they now keep declinign it because I am on a contract WHICH I HAVE CANCELLED! I cannot explain to you the frustraction that this "company" has caused and I urge everyone to stay clear of them. My number is now being held hostage by a company, who is suppose to provide us with communication methods, which cannot even reply to an email, contact form or a ****** phone call... Ironic don't you think? <br /><br />If "You&Me Mobile" get this message (which I doubt since you don't respond anyway), please let my number go!</p>
Signed up for one of Afrihost's mobile deals with airtime and data. Sim finally arrived and I followed the setup instructions. Tried to authorise Afrihost with the USSD code but kept getting an error. After numerous support tickets back and forth I was requested to call MTN. This is where the headache starts as they are infamous for their poor customer service. After being hung up on a couple of times, I ended up speaking to three different departments (pay as you go, contracts and business) just so the last guy could hang up on me. My problem still prevails. I have no cancelled this service with Afrihost (which I have already paid for) and was not even able to use it for 1 day! If this is a get rich quick scheme then congrats! You managed to sucker punch me into giving you money for a service I never used. This is extremely poor and I have lost all faith I had in Afrihost. Extremely poor attitude and customer service from both MTN and Afrihost which is clearly a failing combination. Beyond disappointed and disgruntled towards Afrihost for their lack of service, poor judgement and procrastination in helping me resolve this issue. [#ZGR-782-78145] [#VBR-178-74855]
