Requiring service of professional agents to repair and service a problem encountered with my 37.5KVA Diesel generator, I contacted a very friendly Marius who undertook to visit my premises the next day. Same afternoon I received a message that het had another priority but would contact me the next day- which did not happen. Two days later I contacted him to enquire about his promised service at which time he flew of his handle and informed me that he was not going to visit any site to give quotes, which was his suggestion in the first place. This person and firm definitely does neither require or need your business - what an about turn in attitude without any reason!!
Specialising in gate motors, garage door motors, intercom systems and alarm systems these guys are superb, effective and efficient. They are reliable and trustworthy also which places them ahead of most service providers these days. Highly recommended

Within three months (guarantee period) after having repairs done to a Fridge/freezer appliance it developed a problem with the fridge not cooling. We were surprised to learn of an initial additional cost of R1500 required for attending the problem that had developed within their guarantee period and on discussion “graciously” reduced it to R975. (In total costing more than a new appliance of the same specifications). I suggest that Bergen's had in actual fact ignored the principles of refrigeration in that they replaced compressor, thermostat, charging valve, dryer, supposedly flushed and vacuumed systems and re gassed without actually effectively cleaning the system thoroughly. In fact the ambit of the work done suggests that they had in effect created a new system altogether deserving attention to all that is required to ensure such. When automotive and commercial air conditioning systems re gas they flush, clean and dry the whole system prior to re-gassing, a principle I am sure refrigeration experts understand. Bergen's action in this regard deserves comment and objection as it is indicative of either ignorance, gross neglect or willful malignant disregard, all being at the expense of their client and all being an absolute deterrent for any further dealings with them and/or referrals.
I had two canvas roller blinds installed by Canobrella. The product was good and the service and installing also. However, being canvas with plastic windows and zippers these items require support in maintenance and repairs. This is where Canobrella alias Sun Cover Systems cc are totally absent. I have been attempting since Nov 2018 to source their support re repairs required and yet after 9 months no response whatsoever. Telephonic requests to Sari (owner) & supplied photos of panels requiring attention have remained unanswered and totally ignored. Canobrela does not do any after sales service - they are not available for this. If your require a full and trustworthy supplier with after sales support you will be very pleased with Matrix Lifestyles Group in Benoni who willingly and very friendly came to my rescue to repair my blinds which the manufacturer, Canobrela would not. When you have to pay upfront for services you can be sure to be the looser. This company makes you pay R500 in advance for what I thought was going to be a deposit on requested repairs to my pool. Three days later they arrive to 'give a quote'. The R500 will now contribute to the total bill if I should accept the quote and here lies the catch...you are now compelled to accept their overinflated and unreasonable quote as you will forfeit your R500 deposit...what a cunning catch! And over inflated indeed the quote was for the repairs. The administration office here is oh so retarded and slow. From requesting and immediate payment of the deposit 3 days lapsed before any response was received..then in a spurt of frenzy she wakes up and furnishes a quote for IMMEDIATE payment prior to any action to be taken. Being out of town I could not respond to ms Roets's 'demand' thus forfeiting a time slot for their availability. I send them to their proverbial source and origin forfeiting the R500 which ms Roets was just too pleased to accept. R500 mahala. I suppose that is their main source of ill gained income. Avoid these people and this firm. Their quote R2100 - I had it done for R600
Adams Doors was a referral by a Garage door supplier after Basic Services botched the installation and disappeared. This company is efficient and they know their trade. Within an hour they had corrected an awful installation which seemed impossible to rectify. I have subsequently used Adams Doors on another site for the installation of a gate motor. This company is a winner and a pleasure to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
