Had a great experience over chat with Laurette ****samy. Got everything I needed in 2 minutes.
Unfortunately I have not had a pleasant experience with Mercedes-Benz Sandton. 16th March 19: I took my wife's car in for a service. All in all they quoted me R16k as there were some cosmetic items which I ask them to quote me for. I went back to them and asked please to do the brakes and service, R6k. My wife went in the afternoon to go and collect and there a bill of R16k was awaiting her. This was then rectified and came to just over R6k. When my wife got home I looked and the bill and the numbers were different to the quote as well as being charged for the wipers which was not approved and neither fitted. This was a Saturday afternoon so it was left for Monday. 18th March: Speak to the service agent and she notes that she will phone me back, she needs to confirm how we can get the refund of the wipers. No call back. 21 March: Phone the Service Manager and his words: "Bruce please can we wait until the service adviser is back from leave on the 2nd April". Not too impressed at this stage but agree to the terms. 3rd April: Phone the service adviser and she notes that she will speak to the manager and phone me back. I do not stay around the corner from this branch and I note a EFT would be preferable. She notes, that is a lot of paperwork but she will speak to the manager and call me back. No call back. I will no longer service nor buy a Mercedes Benz from this branch. This is not the service expected from this brand and branch.
Good day I would like to alert you to the experience that I have had with Brett-Lee Preowned and Hybrid Auto. Brett-Lee: I dropped the car (BWM 320i) at Brett-Lee for sale on the 16 March 2018. After a month, I kept following up whether the car was sold or not. I was told it was sold but took multiple attempts to get someone that could sign the documentation with me. Roughly a month later I was able to sign the sale document, this date was 8 June 2018. Per this sale agreement, I was to be paid 7-21 working days after signing the paperwork. So 21 working days, I contacted Brett-Lee to find out where why I had not been paid. For the next week, there were multiple stories and excuses, until I was asked to come in and speak to them. I made my way in to speak to Brett-Lee and they mentioned that they were in a partnership which had gone sour and need some time to repay me. At this point in time, I approached the attorney and pursued legal action. We have gone through the motions, sent letters, summons and are continuing in this process. Not once did Brett-Lee agree to a repayment plan and neither do they seem interested in paying up my money. Other Instance: On the 13 September 2018, a gentlemen contacted me and asked if I has been paid for my car. Which I responded no. This gentlemen was incorrectly sent some of mine and other peoples documentation for which their cars had also not been paid. Very unprofessional! Hybrid Auto: On the 19 November 2018, I received an acknowledgment of debt (which I did not sign for various reasons), which states Hybrid Auto and Brett-Lee were in partnership from April 2018 to June 2018. They also acknowledge the debt of my car but stated that they have not received the papers from Brett-Lee. Further to this they included a BMW 320i (my car) and a BMW X5. The X5 is not my car but clearly they owe this person his money too. Conclusion: I have note been paid! My sale agreement is with Brett-Lee which seems to have an issue Hybrid Auto. I continue to pursue legal advice and proceedings and will keep this thread update. DO NOT BUY NOR SELL WITH BRETT-LEE PREOWNED NOR HYBRID AUTO.

Was very happy of the service from Quintin Barnard from King Price. He was friendly and knowledgeable and solved my query first time round. Thank you. Bruce
