My wife has an account with Contempo but you cannot pay your account at Contempo. They refer you to Game or any other RCS store, but you annot pay your account at Contempo. I contacted RCS H/O and they could not help me and wanted to give me a number to enable me to pay at Pick & Pay, Checkers Game, anywhere except at Contempo where the account is. I need to state here that Contempo is the most user unfriebdly bussiness I ever had the misfortune to deal with and it is the first time in my life that I encounter that you cannot pay your account where it is located
I have recently on several occassions experience that retailers have a special on a product, but when you pay at the till, the full price is charged i.e the shelf price and the till price does not match. I dont know if this is a possible **** but I had the same problem at Leroy, Food *****s and checkers. In some instances I only realise the price difference at home and had to drive all the way back to the store for the price to be rectified and all you get is a sorry but they dont compensate you for the wasted fuel. Consumers must please be wary and check their till slips specially now with black friday
My friend who is 81 years old, needs to close her account at Miladys only to be informed by their H/O that it must be done at her Miladys branch. On arrival at the branch, she was informed that there is an outstanding balance of R7.00 which she promptly paid. She was then informed that she will have to return to close the account, only when the payment of R7.00 reflects on her account. This is totally ludicrous and a disgrace to treat an elderly person like this and they should be ashamed of themselves.
