I am a DSTV customer and at some point was subscribed to Showmax. I decided to unsubscribe from Showmax in June 2018. According to Showmax, I had two active subscriptions with them in 2018 under two different email addresses. After I cancelled my subscription with them, there was another subscription active on an email that had a typo and non-existent email domain(gmai). It was very frustrating as I did not understand why I continued to pay as whenever I logged on to SHowmax, I could not find any active subscription. Upon speaking to their Online Chatbot today( Tiyisela) I learnt that my subscription was active on another email address which he clearly confirmed that it had a typo. I asked that he logs a query for a refund as I do not know of this email address and that I never logged on to confirm this subscription. Chatbot agent refused to log this as he said he has already made findings that this was a a user typo. I feel cheated and robbed as Showmax allowed two email addresses to be active on their side for one DSTV account. Upon cancellation of the legit subscription, I was never informed of the active incorrect email address. I feel I have donated funds to this company and I did not benefit in any way. I have decided to cancel my DSTV subscription as I could not afford it with this extra Showmax monthly charge.
<p>My sister bought me a R5000 gift card after moving into our new home last year. I only used the card to buy a clock and a pan and put it in my wallet. Earlier this month, my wallet got lost with the card in it.</p> <p> </p> <p>My husband called Mall of Africa where he was told only head office can assist with lost gift cards and they only operated during the week. Fortunately (so I thought) after we spoke to them, I found the cover of the gift card with the card details. We noticed it was purchased from East gate Shopping centre and decided to call them.</p> <p> </p> <p>We gave them the info on the original GIFT CARD Docket and did confirm that they see it was purchased by my sister on the 21st of December 2016 but they also advised we call head office during the week.</p> <p> </p> <p>I called in today and was told, it cannot be replaced. They can block it so no one uses it but they cant re-issue another one. </p> <p> </p> <p>My thing is, @Home have visility of the GIFT CARD and they took the R5000. What makes it hard to replace the card? Is it not unfair to me as a customer? I really feel cheated. I understand they view it as cash, but if I have the details of the card, it should be replaced.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
I was shopping for a holiday package to Dubai. I emailed about 10 travel agencies. I then remembered that there was also Roslyn who was recommended by one of my friends. The lady is so professional and goes an extra mile.<br> <br> She took me through the whole process and I just felt like I know Dubai already. She responds to her emails and calls on time. Her professionalism and love for people is what made me go with her not to mention her great offers and superb hotels. We just booked our holiday through her and can't wait to go to Dubai.
