Should have looked into them before. Offer stuff they do not stock. Then offer alternatives or full refund. Asked them full refund plus R50 transaction fee. Since then, no response on multiple emails.
Being one of the first banks to announce assistance to SMMEs and private clients, Standard Bank rose to the occasion in the looming COVID-19 crisis. Business Banker, Jenni Faulds should be credited for pro-actively assisting her customers in ensuring the best possible assistance for the unknown future and giving us personal calls to ensure that we are made aware of support systems availible for SMME's , and even beyond the scope of what Standard Bank offers, all of which makes life in troubled times just that little bit easier for already stressed out Entrepreneurs.
I appointed Bruwer Borehole Pumps on 26 November 2015 to test both water quality and yield on my then newly drilled borehole in Pretoria East. On the 3rd of December I received a yield test and immediately queried some of the information regarding elevation. I was worried about the competence and accuracy of the entire report since the elevation was clearly wrong. I never received any correction or explanation for this.
The water tests would take 2 weeks according to them. I reckoned that Christmas came in-between, but when I hadn't heard from them on the 25th of January, I enquired about it. Niki left a message at my office and I immediately emailed her that I would like written responses by email. I then had to phone her, not receiving any answers, and she told me she had to request new test results from the lab since they were incomplete. I said I do not trust tests done so long after the sample taking and requested that my monies be paid back so I could find an alternative supplier. Since then there has been a stream of promises, telephonic and by email.
I have now escalated the claim to the full amount, since I can not trust test reports from a supplier like this.
