I bought 2x Lazboy chairs in 2024 from The Gallery and they were delivered in December 2024. In March 2025 I complained that the seats have become uncomfortable and actually looks bad because the back of the seat had a big indent. They contacted Bravo Brands that supplies and they sent somebody to come and "fix" it. They filled it up so stiff that we could not sit on them as it felt like rocks. They eventually came back to once again "fix" it. This time they took most of the stuffing out, even on the seats and just made it worse. Once again I had to complain. They sent somebody out that sat on the one chair for 5 seconds at he said the seat was ok, but he would take the back to sort it out. The other chair's seat was uncomfortable and at an angle and he would fix the one chair and then come back for the 2nd one. He brought the "repaired" seat back and now they had to wait as he ordered they inner for the 2nd chair's seat. He kept sending me Whatsapp voice notes and I asked him not to send please not send me voice notes as I cannot listen to them. That was 3 or so weeks ago and the chair still not fixed. Lazboy seems to be the worst chairs I could buy and Bravo Brands clearly does not care. I have submitted a complaint, but I have not received any feedback from them except that they received my complaint!

Wesbank is the most *********** bank I've had to deal with. Every year they deduct my payment on the 17th of December and we only get paid on the 20th of December. I phoned them in October to tell them to please make it the 20th of December as I get penalized for using my whole overdraft for this BS, and true to their incompetence they again deducted it on the 17th using my overdraft. Are they only employing *********** people or is this done on purpose????
So, the DA always says that they stand for giving better service and serving the community. I actually can't agree with them, unless the Gauteng office did not get the memo. Specifically ward 70 DA counsellor in JHB. I had an issue where City of JHB overcharged me by R4000 for my water usage. I tried resolving it, but it was talking to a brick wall as the meter readings they uploaded and the one on my meter differed completely. I sent a Whatsapp to him asking what else I can do. After not receiving a reply, I sent an e-mail to both his e-mail addresses and CC'd the Gauteng "leader" as well as the DA's help e-mail address. That was about a month ago and not even a reply from anybody! What a pathetic counsellor and party!! Clearly they are now just the same as the government, does not care about the people, just the votes.
The best ISP's are always named, but what about the worst in South Africa? I would have to name Supersonic as THE worst and most pathetic ISP. We are supposed to have a 500mbps link with them that worked fine for the first 2 weeks of the subscription. Then it dropped to 12.7mbps download and 239mbps upload speed. Ping to a game server is 320ms. We have logged numerous calls with them to resolve the, but NOTHING gets done. They always tell us to send screenshots of the speed test and after it is sent, we get NO feedback. When phoning them back again we get told that the 2nd level support only works until so we will have to phone them back the following day. The following day they will say that it has been escelated to 2nd level support.Really!!! Still nothing has been done in 2 months to resolve this. DO they only have 1st level support and then refuse to give customers feedback. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST ISP I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. Do not waste you money on these people, rather go to a proper provider! Does not look like they have been trained on customer service.
Russells Krigersdorp. What PATHETIC service we received from them. We bought a lounge suite on Sunday 15 December and were told that the delivery would be on Wednesday the 18th. When we heard nothing at around 14:00, I phoned Nonthuthuzelo and I was told that it only happen on Friday and that upset me as I had to put in a day's leave and had no communication at all telling me it was moved. Today, which is Friday, we have not heard anything about the delivery and my wife had to cancel her cancer treatment because nobody can give us an indication of the time. After my wife contacted Nonthuthuzelo, she phoned back and said that she cannot confirm anything as we had to wait for the delivery driver to phone us. This is unacceptable as we got good sales service until we paid the money and now nobody cares. It is now past 9pm and we still do not have it. We thought we would get good service from Russells as before, but clearly that is not the case.
Makro Strubens Valley is clearly the worst Makro store. I bought 2 stoves on Saturday and was told they would deliver today and I even booked an installer to do the gas for me. I have been trying since this morning to get through to them to find out about my delivery. It just rang all the time. I eventually got through after 3pm and was put through to the delivery co-ordinator. After explaining my issue, I was told she is not in her office at the moment and would put me through to her manager, yeah sure, It rang for another 4 minutes and cut off. I tried again and could not get through as it only rang after the IVR played. I eventually phoned Makro's national call centre (0860 300 999) and even they could not get through to the store. I tried another couple of times and eventually the call was answered again. I asked to speak to the manager and explained the issue. I was put on hold for more than 4 minutes with no interaction. I phoned back and after the 4th try got answered again and unfortunately I was now at the end of my string with them. I never lose my cool over the phone and today I did because of their poor service. Why should I get the run-around without a proper answer!! Makro's personnel clearly don't care about service, just their sales. What must I do to get an answer about when the stoves will be delivered??? Is that so complicated???
I really need to ask this question: when interviews were done with the 60/60 staff, were the most rude ones picked for the job? I normally go to Checkers Hyper Roodepoort and they have 60/60 staff with absolutely no manners, respect or consideration for other people. I was busy getting fruit and this person doing the 60/60 stock, physically pulled my trolley away to get something before me. They will also push you out of the way to get something on a shelve or just bump you to go past as quick as possible. I stopped going to Checkers because of that previously and went back today, just to get the same happen again.
I have to complain about some of Dis-chem Clearwater's cashiers. On Sunday 11th September 2022 we got home and for a second time found a tube of "Lifestyle Vitamin B fizz" in our bag and we paid for it although we did not put it down on the counter. Today my wife went into Dis-chem again and this time the cashier asked her if she wanted to buy a tube as it is on special. Do they get commission on the sale of this product? Is that why they scan it and put it into the bag on the sly? That is not acceptable though!!
JMPD - these are the most useless division of the state. We stay across from Jerusalema in Florida. Every single Friday from 12 midday until Sunday morning at 6 am they play the music so loud that nobody in the complex gets any sleep. We keep on logging calls with JMPD to please send somebody to shut them up, but nothing gets done. Today we were told by the call center that they only keep one call open and close the rest because there are too many complaints for the same thing. A senior JMPD officer told my wife that they cannot keep on taking complaints every Friday and Saturday for the same thing and won't do anything about it. I stay around 600m from the squatter camp and it sound like it is coming from my lounge. What do we have to do to get them to confiscate the sound?
