Bad people and extremely bad business. Do not even attempt to stay at this place. It is an experience of nightmares. Booking, making the trip, arrived at dead mans door. No one to phone or get in touch with, needing to search for emergency accommodation and then to be told it is our fault. No refund and not even a word about why they did not let us in/ Conmen leasing the place and saying it is for rent. Hotels.com is the worst. They refuse to give the details of the owner or except our version. Blindly take the side of the property although proof were given that our case is the true. AVOID! AVOID!
DO NOT USE this property to stay for a holiday. You will be greatly disappointed left standing at a locked door and someone else in the apartment. Terrible people to deal with. Paid in full and on arrival place was occupied by someone else. They refuse to refund us and to cap it all with no explanation. Never had the change to even enter the property. They sell this to multiple people and charge all. Hotels.com was not helpful at all. Blindly accepted owner's story. To date no explanation as why we were not allowed into property.
Never ever use this website or company to book your holidays. It will be a HUGE disappointment. Booked a apartment through them at Linda's Apartments Inverness. Agent never gave us anything to access the property. Turned up and there was someone else in property. Hotels.com don't want to give us the details of the owner. Till today we are struggling to make sense of why we were not given access. They charged us in full and with no service provided. Avoid at all costs.
Please do yourself a favour - do not use this website as they are terrible. Booked a place to stay through them at Linda's Apartments in Inverness. Paid through their site and notified the owner through their site of arrival time. Upon arrival no one to let us in. Owner not answering phone. Left standing in front of place. Looked through letterbox and saw other people in the flat. Had to find emergency accommodation. No help form Hotels.com. They actually support owner. No service given and now no refund. Avoid! Avoid!
Utterly disgusting. Paid for accommodation and on arrival someone else already in apartment. Knocked and knocked but nobody came to the door but hid away in apartment. The so called management refuse to take any responsibility. We were left standing on the doorstep like fools and had to search urgently for alternative accommodation. STAY AWAY
Bunch of Whallies. I switched from them as they offered very bad renewal rates that were 100% more expensive than other insurers. Now they changed my no claim bonus to only a year to get back at me for switching. Their renewal notice clearly states that I have 2 years. Tried to contact them several times but they now have turned deaf and dumb. Save yourself a lot of trouble - stay away from this company!
Pleasant and welcoming people. Was treated with extreme care and the staff at breakfast were superb! Would stay there any time. Quick walk to the beach and town center as well.
I rented a car from this company in Glasgow in 2018. Returned the car on time. Took out full insurance before picking up the car as I know my luck. Paid for everything up front except the deposit. On return they promised full payment of my deposit of £300 within 2 weeks. Never did. Had a two year run around about the repayment of my deposit without getting anywhere. No phone number to any customer service. Phoned their booking office - no help either. Just said it was for extra insurance which is a loud of rubbish as I took the best plan before picking up the car. Wrote them a letter stating that I won't let this go. Nothing. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE COMPANY. Hope the Covid 19 pandemic put this company into administration.
Was done in by Interrent Car Hire. They simply created false costs which I never signed or authorized and took my deposit. This was done on my ABSA credit card. I alerted ABSA of the illegal transactions. They simply denied that I had a case and paid the merchant without alerting me. I complained but they just referred meback to the merchant. To date nothing has been done by them to retrieve my money - they just refer me to the merchant
Hire a car from these people in February 2018. Returned the car on time. Waited for 21 days for them to return my deposit of 300 Pounds Sterling. Never received it. Queried them in March 2018. Never got reply. Complained to Rentalcars.com who was the middleman. Upon their inquiry to InterRent, I heard that I apparently bought extras like insurance and unlimited mileage. This is not true as I had the full insurance coverage as shown on InterRent document before collecting the car and had only driven half of the allowed mileage upon return. To date I had no proof of purchase or invoice stating when I had bought these supposedly items. Why should I buy the unlimited mileage at the end when I returned the car? They are now just stum and stupid.
