1 star exceeds my experience by far! From the manager to the 3 attendants who sat there s******ing and rolling their eyes, while not being able to use basic English to explain anything. And then trying to sell me insurance, as that which I've already paid for through RentalCars, was and I quote: 'I don't know IF you will be refunded or compensated if you did submit a claim.' I confirmed pick-up time an hour before (10am), voucher stated 10 am. BUT their system-InterRent said 2pm. Rentalcars system showed 10am.They even, out of spite wanted to change the booked vehicle, that had already been processed. That back-fired, though! Too little, too late! Never have I been dealt with in such a manner. I need therapy after the verbal and emotional abuse dished out by all. The only decent and civil communication was with the Portuguese lady that drove the shuttle bus. Thank you RentalCars, Ricardo, for saving the day and sorting this out.

Hire a car from these people in February 2018. Returned the car on time. Waited for 21 days for them to return my deposit of 300 Pounds Sterling. Never received it. Queried them in March 2018. Never got reply. Complained to Rentalcars.com who was the middleman. Upon their inquiry to InterRent, I heard that I apparently bought extras like insurance and unlimited mileage. This is not true as I had the full insurance coverage as shown on InterRent document before collecting the car and had only driven half of the allowed mileage upon return. To date I had no proof of purchase or invoice stating when I had bought these supposedly items. Why should I buy the unlimited mileage at the end when I returned the car? They are now just stum and stupid.

Would have given zero stars if possible. Almost ruined the holiday. Refused to give us a car on the basis that we had a NI driving license but not the paper counterpart. Several other companies at Heathrow airport were willing to accept this but not interrent. There was nothing on their website to suggest this was required. The wait for the shuttle from the airport took about 30 mins and we had to call twice to find out where they were. Then the wait in the queue upon arrival was at least another 30 mins. The staff were slow to serve the customers and overall unhelpful. We managed to get a full refund from the company that we booked through because they agreed the additional paperwork interrent were asking for was unnecessary and were shocked by the poor service we reported. Overall terrible service - DO NOT USE INTERRENT!

Overall bad experience. The company has a very predatorial approach to customers attracting them with a hot deal which in the end turns out to be way more expensive in the end. I booked with a supposedly great deal together with a flight reservation and the offer was 35euro for the rental. The final price we paid was 219euro... In the contract which is only available in spanish they wrote that I gave consent to a pre-paid fuel options which costs extra 30euro (so I can return the car without refilling), but I never agreed or was asked about it. The presonnel was trying to force me and other customers getting a bigger car for "only" 20euro per day more, as the one I rented (renault clio) is "not good enough for the hilly roads of the island". 90% of the cars in the island is renault clio or sth of the same class. BTW. I booked ford fiesta and got clio instead... Avoid this company, avoid fuel pre-paid option, they will always cheat you with it. My experience with small, local rental firms was much better.

<p>We rented a car at InterRent in Mallorca, Spain. Apart from the time spent to receive the vehicle (which took us two hours), I thought of it to be a decent company. On the 26th of July 2017, we returned the vehicle at the airport. Our flight was really early so their offices were still closed. We phoned later that day to enquire on when our deposit will be refunded. They said the money has been unlocked and that it will be back in our account on the 31st of July 2017. After the 31st, and after countless phone calls, I've sent countless emails to InterRent, and later to Europcar as well, with absolute no response. It is two weeks since we returned the vehicle, and we are still waiting for our deposit to be returned! We've also been waiting equally as long for a written response from the Company, In all my time of traveling, I've never had to wait this long to get my deposit back from a car rental company! I also spoke to my bank, which told me that the money has not been cleared into InterRent's account, but that it also has not yet been refunded either. So apparently my money is just hanging around somewhere! I would definitely not recommend making use of them. Horrible Customer Care!</p>

On visiting the UK, we hired a car online through [URL Removed] and used a company called Interrent. There were no problems with the collection or the use of the car. However, on returning the car, we ran into problems. Interrent is not situated at the airport but is a few miles away from Heathrow. We had been given a map when collecting the car, but despite this, we were unable to find the Interrent office again. We drive up and down the M4 and A4 with no luck, and time was running out for us to check in for our return flight. As a last resort, we decided to head towards our terminal at Heathrow and call Interrent and ask them to assist us. Bear in mind we had no cellphone coverage or a SatNav. I called Interrent from the airport and asked if they could come and collect the car. They refused. I begged them to help us and was in tears as I explained we'd tried to find them but couldn't and now we needed to check-in. I was told that if I didn't return the car, then the police would be contacted. Since we received no help, we opted to drive to another car hire company to see if they could direct us to Interrent - and we eventually found the location.
