According to Takealot I am unavailable for receiving my delivery so they have rescheduled. I have been at home all day and even if I wasn’t, the security guards would have kept it for me.
*DO NOT RECOMMEND* We placed an order with Junction Blinds on May 14, 2023, and paid a significant amount of R12,600.00 for blinds for our apartment. It's now over a year later and we have yet to receive our blinds or a refund. Despite numerous attempts to communicate, all our efforts have been ignored and blocked. Their lack of professionalism and unresponsiveness is appalling. We regret doing business with Junction Blinds and strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs. The initial mattress was softer than we had hoped. Sloom came and switched the softer layer with another firm one. Even the drivers are committed to customer service. They came on a Friday evening at 18:30 due to the traffic, even though I said they can come do the swop on Monday if they can’t make it.
I bought a phone from takealot on 25 Feb for my husband’s birthday. It was supposed to be delivered on 2 March. It still hasn’t arrived and when I contacted takealot, they told me they are awaiting feedback from their delivery team. I contacted them again today and got the same response. I find that unacceptable for the amount of money I paid for the phone. Order number 84508301
I placed an order on the app. My husband went to collect the order using my name and number (just as the app says you must) Upon his arrival at Kauai, he was told there was no order placed and he was sent away. They didn’t even look up if there was anything under my name. Order ref:#MOS-039F-A7D0-3819
I ordered 2 pillows. Only one pillow arrived. I returned the pillow as it was supposed to be for a double bed, so one pillow on its own is useless. It’s been over a month and I still haven’t received my refund. I keep being told the are “reaching out” to the warehouse. What does that mean?
They phoned me during lockdown asking me to switch banks. I should have done it sooner. They answer the phone quicker and in general everything is far less frustrating.
I don’t have a cellphone contract but R206 came off my account from FNBconnect. I phoned FNBconnect to ask what the debit was for. They said they didn’t debit my account because I’m on prepaid so they don’t know what the deduction was for. I phoned FNB and they said FNBconnect did in fact debit my account. So who is telling me the truth and how can I get my R206 back?
This is my first bad experience with Takealot, after many orders. I ordered 2 pillows with my last order. Only one arrived. Very disappointed.
