Bad service from Rain
I canceled my subscription in December 2023 after almost all year without a network on my Rain Modem. I thought since it's a month-to-month contract I didn't think they had been billing me for all the months even if they did not receive payment. Long story short I was forced to pay R4000 odd to cancel the subscription finally. On 11 June 2024, I received an SMS that I am owing Rain R375,42 from Nudebt. I called Nudebt on 0104924443 to enquire and was told I needed to pay that additional cancellation fee, which I was not told about. I logged into the rain portal and indeed that amount was outstanding. I went ahead to pay and then called Rain on 081 610 1000 and no one answered my call after being on hold for 5 minutes. I called Nudebt back to inform them that I have paid and they confirmed the payment but could not issue me a paid-up letter. Rain customer service doesn't answer their phone and can't find the cancellation function on the portal.

Premium rates for damaged furniture
I hired Lebo to do cakes and cup cakes and deco for my son’s 3rd birthday three years ago. The cakes and cup cakes were the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. The furniture on the other hand was worn down. I even asked her to remove the birthday chair from the set up and replaced it with one of my chairs in the house. My son turned 6 this year and I hired a racing theme backdrop set which she advertised on her instagram https://www.instagram.com/partyeasy_rentals?igsh=MTN0MW1paWdreDloOQ==. She asked me to collect from her warehouse. After final payment she was not answering calls. I sent someone to collect the furniture who had to ask people around for her unit. She eventually responded about an hour after the pick up that the guys forgot some items. The driver drove back to collect the items. The deco was set up the following day, I was not home at the time. By the time I got home some guests had arrived and it was set up. I was shocked to discover the items were not what she advertised.
