I have visited the Spur at Glenfair Centre several times in the past few months and without a doubt it must be the worst Spur in Pretoria if not Gauteng. The service is shocking and the food 3/10. Yesterday I arrived and ordered a cup of filter coffee. That took three requests before it arrived and it was so strong, I couldn't drink it. The manager, who was standing near the kitchen, was on his cell phone and proceeded to ignore my arm waving to get his or anyone else's attention. I eventually got another cup. I then asked the waiter for a newspaper. This never materialised, so I went to the reception to get it myself. I ordered a breakfast that included two sausages, but only one delivered. The eggs and toast were cold. I can go on and on about this Spur. The manager then offered the breakfast to me at no charge. That is not what I want. I just want decent food and service. I turned down the offer of the gratis meal!

The staff are continuously huddled at the front door chatting amongst themselves with very little customer service. The management at this unit are very weak, consequently staff do as they please. Families utilise it due to the children's play area, and not for the
The Spur at the Grey Owl Centre in Louwlardia, Centurion, must rate as one of the best in Gauteng. Always clean with great service & food. Management are active and always highly visible. Waiters check regularly at tables to ensure customers are ok. Very well done to the manager Gideon and his superb team.
Was at this Wimpy on Saturday and the service was shocking. The waiters all congregate at the kitchen pass and talk non-stop! When it came to paying, patrons had to wait for ages at the cash desk due to waiters again chatting! I raised this with the manager who was working as a Cashier, and she never said a word! Also, the glasses are mostly all chipped. Management and owners should be embarrassed.
Went into the Spur at the Grey Owl Centre in Centurion on Saturday afternoon and ordered a steak. The waitress politely asked if I would like it on a hot steel plate and I confirmed this but clearly stated that the plate must be warm and not hot, as previous experience has shown that the fat splatters everywhere and the steak continues cooking. When the meal arrived, the plate was so hot it couldn't be touched. As expected, the fat splattered all over my shirt. I asked for a ceramic plate and had to transfer the food. What is the point of asking for something simple when it is not going to be adhered to? And the cost of my shirt?
I often visit the Spur at Grey Owl. Good food &
Again told today that my data usage is through the roof. When I call them to discuss, their system is down, but they are quick to disconnect my line!! When are they going to realise all they do is annoy their Clients? Actually, they don't care. They couldn't give a damn!!
Has the Vodacom CEO SHAMEEL JOOSAB ever had to call his own Call centres? it is ridiculous and frustrating. I am now informed by their accounts department that I'm in arrears, but in fact their own invoice states that the account is due on the 30 April!! Also, the credit that they owe me does not reflect anywhere but they are quick to demand payment from me!!! PLEASE, could some one at Vodacom in a senior position address this!!!!!
Vodacom have again today suspended my account although they concur that I'm in credit!!! What is going on at this so called service provider? They are seriously starting to annoy their Clients. Now, according to the call centre operator, if I don't remove my sim, I will have to wait 24 hours for it to work again. Who's cock-up is this? Mine or Vodacoms!!!
I exceeded my self imposed limit and they suspended my account yesterday. After numerous calls I eventually got one on their staff raised the limit and unblocked the line. I also made a payment last night. This morning my line is again suspended. Their own system is now malfunctioning and I must suffer as a consequence!!! I pay on time every month and now I must hold indefinitely whilst she cuts me off to work on her system. Why was it suspended a second time!!!!!

Just want to share about Lucy's Pizza in Wilro Park. These guys make the best pizzas and pastas on the West Rand. My guess is that they're much better than a lot of other Italian eateries in Joburg. They knock the socks off del Forno for sure!
