Great service from Ettienne and Stuart at Golfers Club at Canal Walk in Cape Town. They changed the shaft of my driver three times to ensure I found one that suited my swing. Stuart even dropped a shaft off at my club to save me a trip. This level of service totaly exceeded my expectations
I placed an order yesterday (22/4/2022) at 8:30 and had my five items by 3:15pm on the same day. What incredible service from both FTN and Citisprint. And this is not the first time either. My last few orders have all been delivered on the same day as the order. Well done FtN and Citisprint!
Great service and willing to go the extra mile. Melkbos Hardware lent me their ladder and even delivered and collected from my house at no cost. What a pleasure to deal with a business that is prepared to go the extra mile for their customers
I purchased a 3x3m garden shed from Ryan Nutec maintenance on the 25th March and the installation was completed at 7:30 in the evening. The shed is leaning backwards and Ryan promised to fix as well as install a fascia board on the front. Despite promising twice to come and sort these issues out, he has not bothered to come back or even call to arrange another date. I am not a happy customer and I would recommend that anyone else who does business with Ryan should ensure that they are entirely satisfied with the installation before making final payment. I made full payment against my better judgement because Ryan pleaded with me saying that he had to pay his guys salaries. This man does not provide an after sales service and certainly does not deliver on his promises.
We paid the deposit in February 2019 and despite many promises, we are still waiting for our sliding gate to be installed (30 October 2019). Michael Hartzenberg (business owner) does not return phone calls and when I was lucky enough to get hold of him, he always promised to install next week, which of course never happened.
Nascot Pools were engaged in June 2018 to repair a pool leak. I paid upfront but the leak was never repaired. I eventually engaged another company to fix the leak and Alecks Nyandro agreed to refund 50% of my payment. Needless to say that I have never received this refund. I would not recommend using this company.
I have been a loyal customer at Jack Hammers Hout Bay for a long time and enjoy the wide range of hardware available at very reasonable prices and especially the great service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and although I could easily name quite a few outstanding individuals it would be unfair to the other staff as they are all very good. However, I need to highlight two recent incidents where individuals went beyond their call of duty to assist me with my DIY challenges. The first was 99 (yes, that's what everyone calls him) who came to my house to help sort out an issue I was having with the pressure controller on my well-point pump. And second was when Mark (the manager) also climbed into my car and spent an hour at my house connecting the plumbing for my kitchen sink because I was struggling to get it right. This is exceptional service and in this day and age when everyone is so busy, and it is this commitment to service that deserves applause.
Tasha-lee De Waal helped me install their widget on my website. She was efficient and extremely nice and it is a pleasure working with her.
I would like to thank one of Discovery's consultants, Nombulelo Hegeni, who recently assisted my son and myself with our claim. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with her and she did a wonderful job of sorting out our policy by listening to the original recordings to confirm that we did have cover for Smash & Grab on the car windows. Please extend our thanks to her as this process must have taken up a lot of her time but she performed her task diligently. Thank you for the great service.
