Initially, I was quite concerned as I was unfami**** with the store, but the immediate assistance and personal attention I received quickly put me at ease. I experienced truly outstanding service. In addition to the competitive prices, I was promptly issued with an invoice, and the item was delivered on the same day exactly as promised. Highly recommended.
I called Woodford Car Hire late Saturday evening regarding a vehicle I had rented and needed to make some changes that required a refund. The consultant who assisted me, Mr. Ridhwaan from the OR Tambo Airport branch, was incredibly patient, helpful, and professional, even at that time of the evening. I was amazed to receive such high-quality and friendly service. He went above and beyond to assist me, and I am incredibly grateful for this outstanding service. Three weeks ago I ordered an iced coffee from Woolworths using my coffee voucher but I was not allowed to use the free coffee voucher (something I had been doing for the past 2 years). I was informed I could only buy hot coffee. However, when I was persuaded to change my card to a Woolworths Black Credit Card free coffee voucher was mentioned as a benefit (hot/cold was not specified). Woolworths website reads: "Get a free coffee or tea at any Woolworths Cafe, To Go or Tapas Bar, twice a month." I had to leave the coffee behind. I wrote to Woolworths and no response in 2 weeks. I'm about to call again. This may seem a small and insignificant matter but it makes no sense to me that the complimentary coffee can only be "hot" when the iced coffee is even cheaper. How at the end of the day does this make a world of a difference to Woolworths when it makes a big difference to me since hot coffee makes me nauseas but I enjoy cold coffee?
After shopping around I entered The Bed Centre in Silverlakes where I was professionally served by Mr. Navin Singh. He was patient, courteous and informative. This helped me in my purchase decision. The Bed Centre's prices are unbeatable with a wide range of good quality mattresses. Should I need to buy another mattress, I now know exactly where to go to directly. I have reported to Mango damaged luggage since the beginning of this year. Only response was when I noted my experience on hellopeter. On Oct. 23, 2020 Mango Guest Care responded: "Thank you for making contact with Mango. Apologies for the damages on the bags. Copied in is our baggage department whom will contact you. Regards, Guest Care Team." No one has contacted me and I've written another 2 emails since then. Guest Care hasn't followed up and no once seems to care. Please MANGO do not ignore my emails and sort out the seriously damaged suitcases. Kind regards
Early this year, a Telkom consultant encouraged me to change my landline telkom phone to the Telkom Fixed Wireless Phones AGP-KW125f. It has been such a painful and frustrating experience. Ten months later and I've hardly managed to make or receive calls. It keeps saying "insufficient funds" or "no sim card". After many calls to Telkom and taking the phone to the store, I return only to find there's another issue. My next trip will be to return the phone and request a landline again or have Telkom keep this dysfunctional phone.
Passenger Reference Slip No. 22462 I traveled with family end January 2020 and on our return, our luggage was the last to arrive. As we waited at the Baggage Carousel we heard a loud crashing sound and then our suitcases arrived. When we picked up the suitcases we noted that the suitcases were badly damaged. I've sent numerous emails since then to guest care and calls to no avail. They just don't care and can only hope that someone will respond soon.
I received incredible customer service from Mr. Farouk Harmen, the ABSA Banking Consultant. Such a commitment to excellent customer service is to be commended. I thank him for his incredible patience, dedication and assistance which I have not experienced in years. Well done ABSA for such an asset!
Getting Standard Bank to return calls or respond to emails is liking pulling teeth. It's always a painful experience. When the consultant eventually responds I always feel extremely empathetic because they are always too busy, as is explained to me. Then you wait another few weeks before the person attends to the query. This has been going on since I opened my account many years so it has nothing to do with lockdown. I now have just given up on them!
