After a shacking start to my purchase and satisfaction with the "refurbished" i7 laptop I purchased, a call from Val restored my faith in them to a large degree. I received an upgraded model. E590 became T590 to make up for my order being delayed. Thank you. I will consider future purchases from them.
I am slightly conflicted about this review. Did I get a Laptop yes. However, service was particularly slow. Communication apologizing for the delays was good. But eventually had to start asking when exactly will I be getting my Laptop. Then to apologize they agreed to upgrade me to the next one up. E590 became T590. Fantastic I thought. Then a further 4 days later a box arrived. When I opened the laptop what was an Intel i7 the sticker on the keyboard says i5. My heart sank into my shoes. Upon further inspection it indeed is an i7 but their attention to detail and refurb leaves a lot to be desired. Obviously this one got some other ones keyboard and they forget to sort the stickers. And I had to use a rag to clean the previous users DNA off the keys. Would I buy from them again. Probably Not! I could have gone to Makro spent about the same money R9000 and got a fairly decent new machine and have had a far more exciting stress free experience. After all I'm not much of a tree hugger so saving the planet and recycling is not the reason to buy these machines.
This company must rate as one of the worst in South Africa for customer service. You cannot speak to a human at any time, they do not return calls, and the majority of those on the whattsapp help line are uneducated idiots. Steer clear of these people!
What a brilliant experience to deal with Lizelle from Auxilium Bluestar. Claiming from a short term insurer is always so stressful but with the service I have received I can only say WOW! what a pleasure. Highly recommend these people and their service.
I was interested in Purchasing a Small used vehicle from the Master Cars Section of Tavcor William Moffet. Verbally I was given an idea as to what the monthly costs would be. Based on that I went ahead and applied for the finance. it took 4 days to get the answer: Approved...and another 2 days to get the official figures....20% more than the sales person originally estimated. As a result we cant afford the vehicle and had to walk away from the car. Very sad and disappointed in the lack of interest in me. Not used to that from a Big VW dealer. And Also tierd of being taken for administration fees from every bank around every corner. Buyers beware you will pay R69 a month for 72 months plus interest to have your monthly bank statement e mailed to you( R4968 plus interest). For someone on a tight budget it really hits a nerve. And it seems these days you take the deal or go somewhere else....theres no desperation to make the deal happen. Sad but True. I miss the feeling of being part of the Volkswagen Family and passing on the memories.
I cannot express my gratitude enough to Outsurance and to their staff member Jacques Beyleveld enough, for their absolute Awesome service. I asked them for help on a claim for lightning damage and was not sure whether or not I actually could claim, Not only did they accept the claim, but went out of their way to authorise the claim and settle it within 3 days.. They are friendly, helpful and understanding. I look forward to being a Outsurance Client for many more years. Thank you so Much.
Normally I don't like dealing with insurance companies. You get to feel like they are doing you a favour! I was shocked to find out the Outsurance for unexplained reasons did not have cover on my house contents against Burglary and theft! However, Shireen made me feel at ease about getting the problem sorted out in a fast efficient and most importantly friendly manner. The advert says with them you always get something out. Today I got a smile OUT! Thank you Shireen. Donovan
