After paying a ridiculous amount of money for Lord of Dance tickets, front frow, centre stage, we could not see anything below the knees from our seats. Quite a shock for the price. And I decided I wanted my money back. What was promised and what got delivered wasn't up to expectations. I have sat in a tiny Monte Casino theatre with better optics. I asked for a refund over a month ago and have just been messed around with ever since. The agent helping me name is Tembalihle <Lihle@bigconcerts.co.za>. I initially got help and extremely friendly service, and then when I inquired for the first time where the money was, I was told that it takes 10-14 days. At that point, it was well over a week. Then I asked again and was told I must check my credit card statement as if I had just learnt to use a credit card. Anyone with Discovery Bank account will know how easy it is to constantly know what is coming in and out of your account. Then I asked AGAIN on Monday and radio silence, and clearly it's just now a yanking contest to see if I just lose interest to get the money back. I HAVE ALL THE EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE It's just embarrassing that I have to resort to this platform. I WANT MY REFUND!
Took my car for a service on 2nd February and what a poor performance. Dropped my car off at 7 am, was first in line, and got it back at 4 pm. But the car wasn't washed (cause they didn't have water...FINE fair enough), and apparently, all they did was an oil change. However, I wouldn't know because I haven't received my invoice to tell me what was done. So let's do the calculation on that. 9 hours...for an oil change. Plus no invoice. Brilliant. I am on a service plan, so I guess it's just "meh" to send me details on what was done to the car then. Actually, I don't even know what is scheduled because you don't get a service book anymore. So it's a guess and trusting people who couldn't be bothered it seems that what needs to be done, will be done. Or have someone tell you your service history is on an app somewhere on a cloud and not have any way to tell you exactly how to get it because they don't know. I have a list of issues but doesn't matter. I would not recommend this dealer for servicing. They can sell you a car in a jiffy. But take it somewhere else. I await the "sorry" BS to ensue. Or probably won't even notice this complaint. And just the same as I get treated like my car doesn't matter, I will complain on Hello Peter for all to see instead of complaining to the dealership directly.
I took my car today in at 7 am for its 45k service. And fetched after 4 pm. So we clear, it took 9 hours to do an oil change!!!! They don't have water, so it wasn't even that the car needed to be washed. The car also didn't get all the nonsense of stuff they try and pawn on you as additional costs. SO it stood there the ENTIRE day for an oil change. Think about that for one moment. 9 hours=1 oil change. And of course, COVID blah blah blah blah will be blamed, on some level, because why have exemplary service no matter the circumstances. The virus is not a scapegoat anymore. BUT let's add an additional joke here. Their workshop is open on a Saturday from 8-12 pm. SO that means they have to at least do an oil change in 4 hours! Can you imagine that? The best part is you don't have a service book because it's somewhere in electronic form that no one can explain to me where exactly. So who actually knows what was meant to be serviced for 9 hours! My car, my money, my time and I am totally in the dark, like I am in servitude to these individuals, and are doing me a favor! Total utter rubbish service
Bought two Garmin watch straps from them on the 10 of December. Get an email two weeks later telling me that they don't have stock and will receive a refund. Then instead of the 1457 refund, I get a refund for ONE strap. Not two. And will I get the courier fees back...NOPE doesn't look like it. Then I have to email them to ask whats the problem! It's just ridiculously bad service. Reading all the reviews seems like I am not alone. HONESTLY, just pay the extra and go to a shop and buy the product.
