Guys please here my experience with this company called king Prize . So in 2021 we bought our 1st home through standard bank and we renovated our home and made it more beautiful as it was the best thing that happened to our lives . All this time the house was insured at Standard bank only at the beginning of the year we decided to try King Price insurance because of their CHEAPER PREMIUMS . 2 months later we have paid our premiums religiously, Then my house burnt down. The incident occurred on the 13.03.2024 , the whole house burnt and according to king prize they told us that they where gonna organise alternative accommodation since the Building was a total loss . Guys what a nightmare from KP , since the 13.03.2024 we have been staying in people s houses with our 4 year old daughter on the 20th of this month my wife phoned the Accessor Breyten (VERY RUDE DISRESPECTFUL GUY WHO DOESNT EVEN RESPECT WOMAN , I DOUBT THATS HOW HE SHOUTS AT HIS WIFE , AND HE HAS BEEN DISRESPECTING AND SHOUTING AT MY WIFE) I really don’t know if this thing has something to do with the colour of 1 skin . The house burnt and he asked us what are suspecting and we told him that we don’t suspect anything besides the iron that was burnt beyond recognition maybe we might have left it on ….. Gues what Breyten came back to us yesterday and said he won’t pay for the claims as my wife burnt our own house as a result he is recommending KP to reject the claim and open a CASE OF ARSON against my wife . When the house burnt my wife wasn’t home , she was busy feeding the orphans on the other side of town and tracker can confirm that …. The explanation he gave us for rejecting really felt like BREYTEN was chatting to his 4 year old daughter , Guys the fire started in the bedrooms and only the bedrooms burnt the dining room is ok , the kitchen also few damages because of smoke , so why will my wife focus on burning the bedrooms… in the kitchen there was a gas tank , nothing happened to it but they saying we hunt our own house , why would 1 burn only bedrooms instead of the whole house …… KING PRICE ARE YOU DOING THIS TO US BECAUSE WE ARE YOUNG AND YOU TAKING ADVANTAGE BECAUSE WE CANT DEFEND OURSELVES OR YOU DOING THIS TO US BECAUSE OF THE COLOUR OF OUR SKIN OR YOU REJECTING OUR CLAIM BECAUSE OF THE DAMAGES AND YOU JUST DONT WANT TO PAY CLAIMS? Guys the sad part in we gave BREYTEN our house keys so that they can access the house and the following day our 55 inch smart Samsung TV was ****** and when we told him he said we must register another claim while he was responsible for our house during the claims process and to me that means he doesn’t give a damn about our claims history, but if that was his sister CAREN DU TOIT he was gonna treat her better and protect her claims his . He concluded by saying he is rejecting the claim on the basis’ that there was no signs of forced entry that’s why he is saying my wife is a key holder and there for the person that burnt the house had the key there for my wife is a suspect….. Guys that is FIRE not Theft , why should there be signs of forced entry for FIRE……. KING PRIZE ARE YOU SAYING IF THE HOUSE BURNT DOWN THERE MUST BE VISIBLE SIGNS OF FORCED ENTRY ? Guys l even asked BREYTEN if he contacted tracker to find out where the car was He said NO , I was like then you haven’t done your job you can’t place someone at a crime scene without doing proper investigation….. However this is not new , l have had about you king price , and I even told my wife about you when she joined however bring it ON …… We are waiting for the report that you promised to send us Breyten and also the police that you said they coming to arrest my wife without investigating the claim just wanting to reject our claim because of the colour of our skin and the fact that we are a young successful couple. You even blocked us from your Whatsap after telling us that you are rejecting our claim , how unprofessional are you for a guy that claims to be in the business for 25 years?
Good day Maksure, Last week Friday I was contacted by a lady with the name of Kamo, this lady contacted me offering me insurance, I gave her all my personal information and the things I wanted to insure which is my 2 vehicles , 2 properties and my household contents the lady promised to contact me with a quotation and today it is Wednesday and I still haven’t heard from her. Why then did she take my ID NUMBER AND ALL MY OTHER PERSONAL DETAILS, is that how you guys work , is this even a genuine insurance or it is a Scam . Is this what you call service, why gather all my personal details including my residential adress after that you don’t call me . This is poor service and I really wanted so hard to do business with you . If I am experiencing this ****y service now what about at claims . Mxm
Wow what a Service I just received from King prize. We are in 2021 and clients are still being treated like a piece of Trash.l Have never experienced this in my whole life. Spoke to a guy few minutes ago , Lehlohonolo Mokoena is a true definition of Lazy. Guy doesn’t deserve to work for a big brand like King Prize, he make the company looks mediocre. I told him that I am cancelling my car insurance because it is sold , guy didn’t even try to save my profile he just became rude and went South. There was really no need to disrespect me considering the time I have been with you. Again no one will die from Putting effort in trying to save the damn client. Asked to speak to his manager, the manager he called just sounded like his best friend or let me say his drinking partner , speaking to his so called manager was waste of one s precious time. Again please cancel my insurance from the 30.11. 2021 and send my cancellation letter Asap.
Complained about Discovery about a week ago, even today they haven't responded, I don't even know the status of my policy. This to me shows that I am just a number at this company. They send their advisors to disrespect us and knowing that we can't do anything. Before joining these guys please think twice.
Good day Discovery, Wow what a nightmare, I never thought in 2021 people still get bullied by insurance companies on the telephone up until l spoke to Kastelo Govender from Discovery insure retentions department. I phoned to ask for a cancelation as I am finding it difficult to pay since their insurance is expensive, the guy bullied me from the start, speak over me, shouted at me and never gave me a chance to express myself.... I have no issues with that because you can't teach a grown person manners if they didn't learn that from home (charity begins at home) MY PROBLEM IS HIM ADJUSTING MY PREMIUM BY TAKING AWAY MY BENEFITS WITHOUT TELLING ME. HE CHANGED MY COVER FROM CLASIC TO LIMITED WITHOUT ASKING OR TELLING ME. HE ALSO CHANGED MY COVER FROM RETAIL TO MARKET VALUE AND ONLY WHEN I ASKED HIM HOW HE GOT THE PREMIUM LOWER THAT'S WHEN HE SAID HE HAS GIVEN ME ESSENTIAL PLAN, GUYS IS THAT HOW YOU WORK, IS THAT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CLIENTS, I CAN'T DEAL WITH SOMEONE WHO IS A TSOTSI TRYING TO ROB ME MY GOOD PLAN BECAUSE HE IS THINKING ABOUT HIS OWN POCKET... NOW WHEN I ASKED WHY DID HE CHANGE IT THE GUY JUST BULLIED ME, HOW MANY OTHER OTHER PEOPLE IS HE ROBING, PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS GUY S CALLS.... HONESTLY HE SPOKE TO ME LIKE DISCOVERY IS HIS MOTHER S COMPANY AND HE IS BIGGER THAT THE COMPANY, THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR AND PAYING YOU GUYS IS BECAUSE I LIVE THE COMPANY BUT YOU NEED TO STOP YOUR ADVISERS FROM ABUSING US, I AM NOT Kastelo s child.
Good day Motor sure This is really shocking because when I was asking for an insurance Bonita you phoned me every minute, now that I have canceled my current insurance moved to you, you are ignoring my emails.. Listen, it takes me seconds to phone you and cancel all my arrangements with you... I am giving you an hour to call me. You promised that you will call me and advise of my pro-rata and you said you will send me documentation.... If you don't call me, I will consider my policy canceled..... This is disrespect from you and your team Bonita.
I have been paying this company money for almost a year but I am not getting any help, right now I contacted them and spoke to a lady by the name of Nokuthula Mokoena, she advised that she can not help me because she is going on lunch after that she left me hanging on the phone, until I disconnected when I saw that no one is on the line. This is a bad company to deal with, very bad but they the first ones to debit. I don't know or it is because we are desperate for their help that's why they take advantage. I was told that Lebo is handling my file before lock down but Lebo has never phone me because m just a number to them. Please advise me how do I terminate my services with you?

King Prince Why are you so full of lies? Why do you make stupid false promises? Why you taking your clients for a ride? December I phoned u to update my policy regarding my marital status, your adviser gave me the new premium and she told me that that's the premium I will pay for the next 12 months, I asked her several times and she told me that I don't need to take my vehicle for inspection and my new premium will be R934 no increase. This morning I received a letter which says my premium will be also R1200. To my surprise I phoned the call center they made me hold for 15 minutes, I was then transferred to the Advicer that promised me a call back within the next 2 hours. That call was supposed to come at 12, now it's 3pm. Exactly why I think your company is a fly by night company, you quick to lie about all your ****ty benefits but you can't keep damn promises.. You service is bad, l wonder how you doing on the Ombudsman report? Even the service on my cell phone claim was ****. I knew that I am just a number at your company that's why u didn't care. I regret why l chose you. Hopefully South Africans can read this and stay away from you. You said u will call back now it's 5 hours later, how is this service. This company shouldn't be Functioning here in South Africa. This is not good for people of South Africa. I have never seen a company with so much unhappy clients. This is so rediculous. You try calling them they never answer the phone I mean this ****ty company I took their stupid policy about 4 months ago, they said my premium was gonna be R289. I was shocked this month when they took R736. They just got into my account and stole all that money. What nonsense is this? Are they that desperate that they can just steal our money without notifying us... South Africa please don't buy any Products from Sanlam Indie. Sanlam please refund My damn money or else I will Reverse the debit order. Thanks
