Since last year February I have been trying to get *****ulent transactions cleared with MTN. After much frustrations and ups and downs to MTN stores and the police, I was told that everything was cleared up and I received a letter from MTN confirming this, and clearly stating that the collection file had been closed and their debt collectors informed . At that point I was happy with the way MTN handled the situation. However a company called SSDA is continually asking me to pay my non existant account. I went back to a MTN store who then checked and told me I owed them nothing so I should not worry about it. However, I am still getting calls and messages from SSDA who told me that MTN has handed me over to them. Why has MTN not instructed SSDA to close the file? After more than a year, how does this get sorted out and what about my good name that has been pulled through the mud?? Who is actually in the wrong here, MTN or SSDA?

Bought online item from Makro 29.01.24 - was incorrect - battled to get them to collect item for refund. Only after reviewing on Hello Peter did they collect on 26.02.24 - gave me no paperwork just took item and left - since then I have twice requested information about my refund and have twice been ignored. No response whatsoever to my mails. No good phoning customer care they just say it "will be escalated". How do I get my money back? This has been my worst online purchase experience ever! Come on Makro, refund my money.
Purchased item online - needs to be returned - contacted them on 09.02.24 and did what was requested. They advised collection would be 2-5 days - no collection done. I contact them telephonically and via email and am told everytime that query has been escalated - when I say that doesnt work because no one does anything they say some one WILL contact me. NO ONE DOES! So here I am on the 21st still waiting for that mysterious person to contact me and come and pick up item so that I can get a refund.
No stock of goods ordered so money was put into “my wallet”. I loaded bank details to transfer money back into my bank account and it is impossible to do. When I get to withdraw, another screen pops up and blocks me. Have been trying for a week and a half to get money back. Every time I phone and speak to the same consultant she has a different excuse - it’s an IT problem or they can’t phone me back because their phones aren’t “connecting” (but I can phone them) or finance dept will call me or the she will call me back. Anything to get me off the phone and off their backs. I was told to wa them which I did. Then I was asked to wa screenshots which I did. When I phoned again consuktant said she never received wa. Lies she was caught out in because I got an acknowledgment of receipt of wa!!! When I said that then suddenly she had the wa. The consultant gives me times that someone (finance) or she herself will phone me back and NO-ONE phones. I asked her if I should review on Hello Peter to get sorted out and even that didn’t seem cause for concern. Why can the finance dept just not transfer my money back??? I’m getting absolutely nowhere but one cart is sitting smiling with my money!! So where to from here???
For months Makro Carnival has been overcharging me for Pampers fine cuts in boxes. I have complained about this many times before - in fact so many times that the managers at Makro Carnival know that when they get called to the till about cat food overcharges they know it is me! I now check the prices at the till instead of when I get home as it costs me money to return to Makro to complain or try to get a refund. Instead of spending as short a time at the till as possible, it now takes me forever while 4 or 5 staff gather and discuss the issue and get the pamphlets and pricing off the shelves (do they think I am lying about the prices?) or call the managers. I am so sick of this!!!!!!!!!! Pick n Pay runs the same specials on this food and not once have I had a problem with the prices at the till. How many people are getting ripped off by Makro on these overcharges?? I have asked a lot of people if they check their slips to see if they are getting goods at the correct prices and they all say no. Every time I buy this food it has to be corrected and I get reassured that it will not happen again. But guess what? It does. Time and time again!!! So Makro continues to make a whole lot of money off of consumers by doing this. SHAME ON YOU MAKRO!!!
On 05.01.23 I purchased good on special at Makro Carnival. When I got home I saw that even though I had bought 4 of the same items only 2 where charged at the special price. I contacted Makro Carnival telephonically and asked to speak to a manager as this is the third time the same thing has happened. I was asked what it was about and when I said an overcharge and for the 3rd time I was told no one was available to take my call. I was then extremely irrate as I do not believe that "no one" was available. I was asked for my telephone number (thats all - no name) and told someone would call me back. I am still waiting. Such bad customer relations!!! They obviously think that they do not need the business of the small customer.

Nash was extremely patient and helpful. I was thinking of cancelling policy due to financial restraints and being a pensioner but he helped me sort everything out and got to a premium that I can still afford for the next year. He phoned me back so I did not use my airtime as well. Explained everything to me. He is a star. Dialdirect is lucky to have someone like him!
