I bought a Defy double door fridge freezer 2020-03-16 at Game in Kimberley. On 2023-03-10 the freezer side stoped working and all my frozen food got spoiled and had to be destroyed. I reported it to Defy. Defy send someone to fix the freezer. A part had to be put in. On 2023-12-22 the appliance broke down again. All my frozen food went bad once again. I reported it to Defy after a few days someone was sent to check out the problem. But during the delay between the fault report and Defy sending someone to check out the fault the appliance began working again (about 3 - 4 days) So when the person came out the applance was working again. On 2024-04-24 the freezer part stopnworking again for the 3rd time. All my frozen food went bad once again. I report the fault once again to Defy. After reporting the fault a person with the name Andre of Defy phoned me, he was very rude and told me that if the appliance start working on its own it not faulty. I told him that my food get spoiled every time and this is now.getting to be a problem because a person must be able to trust a appliance. On 2034-05-03 someone came to check to see wat the fault was. Once again after 9 days the freezer began working again. The appliance is getting very hot. The person Defy send out told me that they had to replace the sensor and a thermo fuse, bit it must be ordered. Today is 2024-05-09, 5 days later. No one came to replace the part. After many calls I cannot get hold of this Andre person. What am I to do. Al my appliances in my house are Defy. I will never buy a Defy again after this. I atleast thought that Defy will replace the frige, because it broke doen 3 times and are still ander warranty.
On 10April 2023 I booked my Ryobi petrol lawnmover in at Macro because it wont start. Makro had on big posters the policy that repairs can take up to 6 weeks. During May 2023 Macro phoned back to state the part that broke is not under garantee and we have a R800 co-payment. I said to person to stop the repair and sent my lawnmover back so that I can fix it my self. On 2023-06-01 I went to Macro to ask were my lawnmover are. Jaco Tiaart from Makro Bloemfontein told me the lawnmover is still at the suppliers and that I must fetch it my self on Monday 2023-06-05. On my aerival at the supliers they told. Me Makro already feched the lawnmover so I went back to Makro Bloemfontein. I told them the supplier said they already collected the mover. I stood there for 3 hours waiting fot the Manager JACO TIAART, who sat in his office. Every time the personnel phoned him on speaker phone he was arrigant and just said " IS HE STILL WAITING. Between Makronand the supplier they lost my lawnmover and it seemed to be my fault now. Jaco is unable to do his work. He don't want to do his work. Please people dont buy at Makro Bloemfontein they managers is incompotent to help. Wat is so difficult they lost the mover. Give my money back or give me a new lawnmover.
I'am waiting from end Jul 2022 for my deposit. After countless enquiries and promises from Me L van den Berg, still no deposit. On 18 October 2022 after yet another enquiry I got a sms stating the money was paid to my account. On 26 October 2022 after phoning L vd Berg she told me the money was paid to the wrong account and it was already rectified and will bepaid in before 27 Oct 2022. She told me that she will call me on 27 Oct 2022 to confirm the payment. But still no deposit. Never will I ever rent a place from PROPERLET BLOEMFONTEIN again.
