IF you are thinking of purchasing the 2025 Foton G7 Tunland Single Cab bakkie I would urge you to re consider! My vehicle has a passenger cabin creak that was confirmed by CMH Foton to be emanating from the passenger cabin body welds! This makes the vehicle unsafe and will effect durability and re sale value! The reaction and assistance from Foton SA, well at this stage None ! We have through the CPA now demanded a full refund as the act clearly states inherent Manufacturing defects that compromise safety or durability demand a full refund. Its not isolated to just my purchase as without any investigation am aware of two other identical models with the same defect.
Its was not a bad experience at all until I tried to call to resolve a small billing issue. The so called manageress hung up 3 times ! I was being completely civil with zero tone or aggression. I merely wanted to explain what I assumed to be a small error of been overcharged by R70. When I went there to try discuss it with the manager she ( Name still unknown because her very strong accent and telephone manor was really bad ) She refused to talk to me ??? You will NEVER see me or my friends there again and I will make it my point to diss this establishment as far and wide as possible. Your people skills are zero and in times like these you should be embracing clientele not chasing them away !
MTN - Give or make available your contact details to 3rd party suppliers who contact you and pitch MTN products with promises that cannot be kept ! ie REWARDSCO / MONDO 031 533 3000 - will call posing as MTN and lie to you just to get a sale !! I was emphatically told I would retain my existing number on a 20gig R149pm Data offer. I must have reiterated it 3 times ans was assured I would NOT NEED TO CHANGE my number. On attempts to now activate this SIM card with MTN its now not possible and the willingness to assist from MTN is ZERO ! All they are good at it transferring you to other departments !!! Customer service is something MTN knows NOTHING about ! Even approaching an MTN store is futile as they must utilise the same "client care" department and get pushed around as I have been !
REWARDSCO / MONDO - 031 5333000 Contact cell phone contract holders posing as MTN direct suppliers. They are in fact 3rd party suppliers and do not disclose this in their sales pitch ! They sell you an MTN product and make promises on behalf of MTN that cannot be kept.
Buying a car is made so much easier when the consultant is positive, friendly and has everything ready as promised. Thank you to Shaheed for great service.
