I bought a pair of Gucci sunglasses and wore them less than 3 times. On my last wear, I had them hanging on my dress, and I may have leaned against a table at a restaurant. The sunglasses were so scratched they looked like I was skating with them on the floor. This brings to question the quality and if those sunglasses are actually genuine Gucci. I have worn very cheap and very expensive sunglasses in my life, which I take care of and never have I experienced such damage during 1 wear and under the circumstances described.
I submitted a claim in October 2025 for an accidental water leakage. The claim was called consequential loss and negligence. I appealed the decision with Guardrisk and the decision was upheld. When I proved to them that it was not consequential loss but direct loss, the focus was on negligence. For a claim to be categorised as negligence, there has to be some form of conscious recklessness, which in my case there was not. I requested the call recording of when the claim was registered; 21 emails later, I am being ignored. When is it ever an accident when everything is negligence
Every claim is considered negligence; when is it an accident?
Assisted by Xolane Mbukwane. Excellent service
I bought a JVC TV in December, and within a week I reported a fault. It was only picked up after I complained about the non-pick-up, in January. They picked it up and it went away 2 weeks with no word, no update, no feedback. I have now received a message via Twitter that JVC apparently REPAIRED the tv and delivered it back to me. THERE IS NO SUCH!! The tv was picked up and never returned. I want my money back.
After a struggle with the Black Friday deal, I finally received my tv. However, I noticed that it has a rainbow distortion. I reported to to the PnP call center within a few days and I was told "There had been a lot of complaints about this issue on JVC tvs". I was then referred to the JVC call center. After a week of calling and the call being put to a number that just rings I was eventually referred back to PnP (they apparently don't deal with online purchases from PnP), I emailed PnP HO dealing with Roeleen. She said the TV cannot be returned before a technician has seen it. I have been waiting since December for this technician. May you please arrange for a pick-up and my money back. I'm FED UP!!
I made an online purchase on November 23, (Order #0026521647). I realized that I selected the incorrect banking details. I IMMEDIATELY called # 1002385793 to rectify this but was told to let the other decline and that I would be given the option to change my banking details. The decline message never came through on the day instead I received a message that my order was canceled. When I called to query this #1002388216 I was told the discount is no longer available. Pick n pay had 2 opportunities to assist me, either during the call by changing my banking details or sending the decline message. I, therefore, request that you allow me to re-order and you honour the discount as I was not assisted on time.
Installed a solar system 2 months ago. It hasn't made any difference to my electricity bill. Eventually had to switch it off because it was making a terrible noise. No response from Paul. He just frankly ignores you and send his pa around. He's defrauded a LOT of people. Pathetic customer service. His guys go on the job drunk. No assessment, but he says I must upgrade to a bigger inverter at a higher cost.
I ordered and paid CASH for sliding doors in July. From the initial to current the communication has been non-existent except for when they call to make excuses. The sliding doors have been repaired at least once a month since installation. Nothing ever works. The doors are now cut unequal, they misalign, they gape, they are dented and scratched. They chipped the walls and did not return to cement. They cancel appointments on the day, minutes before they are due to arrive. When I demand a new door, I'm met with silence.
