14 December I asked for settlement for my credit card and I paid through their so called immediate payment system where they use my card details as if I am paying for something online. It took forever for the money of immediate payment to reflect, even 3 working days later it had still not reflected until I made noise. On the 3rd working day late in the evening after making noise I asked them to close the account as I had settled it. They initiated closure of which I got an sms for and told me it take 3 working days to close. I am on the 4th working day and it's still not closed, when I call to ask what's going on they are telling me I need to pay a further R1800 for deposit fee. I am fuming as it is because I did the same with my amex credit card and within 3 working days the account was closed without extra charges. Yet the nedbank money I owed was more than the african bank money and now over 7 working days later. The account needs me to pay extra money which nobody warned me of. It's bad enough their interest rates are so high, worse if after settling I have to pay a whole R1800 extra, I ask myself what settlement means
This company is a joke, I think they are running a circus. They are not serious about business, very unprofessional, it feels worse than seeking assistance from government. If you have time to play with go for them. Firstly I got pre approved and told to send proof of adress, I sent my municipal bill I called and I was told they need my payslip then everything would be finalized else they would call if they needed anything. I later called only to be told they needed another proof of res which I sent, then I called to be told they needed more payslips, I sent and I called only to be told my application is locked they can't see progress. Someone called me to verify everything and told me they are done with verification I would get sms in 10 minutes, I called after 1 hour only to be told they need another proof of res because the one I had sent wrote my complex name before my street name. Iyo evertime I call either my application is locked or they need what I already sent. I just feel like I am being pranked. What a waste of my time. It's been 5 days struggling with application. At this point I don't even have the energy to call, also their lines are so bad, you either can't hear them properly or they answer and not talk or if you complain about the service they hang up on you. Ridiculous
They don't have material readily available it can even take a week before you get what you ordered, even if you arrange for collection, material is not available. They have the take it or leave it attitude Very very arrogant and unfriendly Prices depend on who is helping you Total waste of time and are not even apologetic when they inconvenience you, worst customer service I ever experienced
I have been a loyal customer to Momentum since i bought my car, I have never missed a payment and in one of the months they had mistakenly not debited my account, i called them to make sure they debit ( how serious i am with ensuring that my premiums are paid). <br> <br> This month they have not debited again and I called to find out why, I was told that my policy has been cancelled and NOBODY wants to tell me who cancelled and why it was cancelled, since I never called to cancel and I have never missed a payment. when I call, I am either told that the retention department will call me back, which they dont do or i am told to email yet they do not reply.... i am using public transport coz i cant drive that car if its not insure, i dont want mistakes...<br> <br> i will not come back here and tell that i am happy coz it shouldnt take hello peter for you guys to take my queries serious. i dont know how many consultants i spoke to yesterday and nobody tells me why it was cancelled, all they do is promise to call back and they never do
