I Googled, "Car insurance Hippo," and clicked on the first link that came up. Started filling in the required information and then realised it was the Outsurance site, and not Hippo where I could compare quotes. Exited the site. I had not even 'submitted' my information to request the quote, yet somehow Outsurance felt entitled to phone me obsessively for the next 10 hours, using 10 different numbers which I blocked one after the other, totalling 30 calls in a day. Plus the SMS and email they sent. HARASSMENT MUCH?!?!
I know I've reviewed Dotsure before, but they just continue to blow my mind with their outstanding service. Recently our cat had a trip to the vet, and once again, the claim process, overseen by Wendy Lynch, was quick, easy and painless. Dotsure keeps their promises, and their staff is always super knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. I've always felt like they actually care. If only I could get my personal health insurance through them! Dotsure is truly "insurance done right"!
I have a lunatic dog, an old cat, and a younger, very adventurous cat, so we've been at the vet a fair few times over the years for them. Dotsure has been an absolute pleasure to deal with for pet insurance, keeping their promises, lightning fast turnarounds of my claims, easy, user-friendly processes, utter professionalism from their staff. Best decision I've ever made for my pets!
Terrible terrible customer service from Bracken City branch! Ordered through Mr Delivery and Mochachos sent the wrong food. Called them up to have it rectified only to be told that there's nothing Mochachos can do, and I, the customer, must get hold of Mr Delivery and send them back to the restaurant to pick up the correct burger, giving the incorrect one back. Erm, NO!! I don't work here, I'm the customer, and YOU are the service business and YOU *****ed up so YOU need to arrange to have the correct burger arrive at my house ar YOUR cost!! It's not rocket science?! I ended up driving to the restaurant to give them their food back and get my money. Useless! :(
One star is even too much for this establishment. Treat their customers like dirt. The owner is so rude and arrogant, he shouldn't be in a client-facing business!!
On Friday evening (22/05) we ordered pizza and a 2L Coke. The pizza arrived with Coke Light instead of Coke, and the driver said he would come back with the correct item after his couple of deliveries. We waited and waited and eventually ate the pizza without our Coke. I phoned the branch just before eight, only to be told that the drivers are very busy and I should wait longer. I've now waited four days more, and still no Coke. On Saturday I commented on the Debonairs Facebook page to give them a chance to sort it out, and was responded to with the message that someone would contact me. I am still waiting for this to happen. It's bad enough that they're charging almost R25 for a 2L, and then they don't even bother to make sure the customer gets it. Coupled with the less than delicious pizzas, I won't be spending a cent on them ever again. I want my money back, Debonairs!
Thank you to Zanele from Wimpy Brackengardens who chased me all the way through Checkers and through the back parking lot to give me my (R18, shocking!) Fanta that I had forgotten when I collected my take-away. She restores my faith in humanity for her kind gesture, and I would appreciate management of Wimpy Brackengardens acknowledging her effort.
