I commend Leroy Merlin for their commitment to their customers. It appears that the item I purchased online came in two versions (with & without a control unit). It turned out that both had the same product code. Despite the difference in price. Managers Ronald & Khumbs ensured my order was honored at their expense.
Very satisfied with the service, received. Reasonable pricing, good communication and quick installation. Most recommended!
Earlier this year I moved into my new home and recently found the two inlet valves(which looked relatively new) to be leaking. I called DPE about this. The technical representative was quick to offer replacements, and in fact, had them delivered to my door step the next day. Not only was this extraordinary service, but there is more. On close examined of the old valves I noticed that that they were both discoloured. I realised immediately, that they were much older than they appeared whilst in the cistern. In good conscience, I felt I couldn't take advantage of the situation, and offered to pay for the new valves. They weren't not responding to my email, so I messaged Dirk (representative who delivered the valves), who told me they had read my mail, and were not want me to pay for the valves. I still feel guilty not paying ....but how is that? May God bless this company!
I placed an order for IBR sheeting, was promised to deliver once payment was maid, which I promptly did. The delivery was never made. My calls are being ignored. Be warned - reject any dealings with this company(suspect scam site) Contact No : 0510112558, also diverts to Cell No: 0656388375 Banking Details: Capitec, Acc no: 0000001535122003 http://www.ppiconstructionmaterials.co.za/
I received notification of my yearly premium increase(13.7%), which I rejected out-rightly. I intended to shop around for a better rate, however, I got a got a call from Miway and was referred to Lehlohonolo(senior consultant), who not only arranged for annulment of the increase, but came back to offer a decrease on my current premium instead. I felt that they went beyond my expectation, to keep me as a client. In today's work environment, Good service is hard to come by; Lehlohonolo was courteous, professional, and empathetic. Credit where credit is due!
I have been trying cancel my landline for over a month and what a challenge! I paid the amount outstanding that I was told to pay. As a result I was unable to upgrade my mobile which has been overdue. I try to upgrade a month later, but can't as the landline is still showing an outstanding balance? I ask for a final amount outstanding , and paid that. Can I now upgrade and is it finally settled? No! I had to lodge a billing dispute. They acknowledged that the line ought to have been cancelled a while ago and sorry , that's all you get. By the way there is another outstanding balance ( the phone is not used at all). Never ending story!! If you thinking of opting for Telkom, be prepared for this to be the service you get.
If you are considering taking out a Telkom contract, be warned up front that you will have to contend with poor service and zero accountability. I tried to upgrade my cellphone, they said all was ok except for an amount outstanding, for a landline that I cancelled. I payed the outstanding amount quoted to me and got a reference no. Over a month ago the phone is still not cancelled and am still not able to upgrade as there now is another outstanding amount on the same cancelled contract. I still can't upgrade, and was also wanting to open a new contract for my son. I can't do that either, for a messily outstanding amount. I went to Telkom to go pay it and they tell me, I can't pay there. I have to go to Checkers or the Post office . I spoke a supervisor Moses Mogetti, explaing the situation. The best he could do is to say sorry, that I was misinformed about the amount outstanding. You can not escalate it further as one is unable to contact a Telkom manager according to Moses. Never mind that one is a long standing customer and loyal payer. This means nothing to them. There statements are almost always late(2 months late) other statements don't even arrive. It maybe time to find a new service provider.
After several months of emailing and phone calls I have yet to get my updated policy(except non- updated ones), regardless of who you contact(including directors). This is shocking! They contact you whilst on the road, requesting information which I don’t have at hand and that I have emailed over and over. I insist that they trace my many emails with the relevant info. They cannot, even though I receive automated notification of receipt. On the first attempt to call and I’m unable to answer, they don’t try again. The last call I deliberately didn’t answer, as I was fed up. I did then get an email notifying that they tried to call. I have to say that they are very efficient about deducting the new premium after notifying them of the purchase of the new vehicle (within days). They have all the info, what more do they want??
I recently bought a Mahindra from Atterbury Motors, and was very impressed by their professionalism. They were very thorough. Their premises were spic and span. They didn't waste time in offering me coffee while I was there. I was given a surprise send off with pics taken of me and the car and was handed a box of wine. Great service! I highly recommend them. <p>I was talked through a policy offering, which I was keen to take up, on condition that I was able to study it first.</p> <p>I was sent a link to their online self-help site which I accessed but was unsuccessful in registering. When I called for assistance I was told that someone would call me, which didn’t happen. I called back and told the same thing, still nothing.</p> <p>I was next informed that my policy was in force. I was unimpressed and demanded cancellation.</p> <p>I had mentioned that I first needed to scrutenise the policy before taking up the offer and that the deduction should come off at the end of the month /beginning of the next. Despite my cancelling the policy and receiving confirmation thereof (16/03/17) I get a second notification (22/03/17) that the debit order has gone through already???</p> <p>I demanded an immediate refund. Zandile Khanyile eventually responded, it could only be done in 10 working days’ time.</p> <p>This is clearly an unethical ploy of luring the public in, even if you reject there offer it is structured so that, at least, they can draw interest on your money for 2weeks.</p> <p>Not acceptable!</p> <p> </p>
