The after sales is really bad. They are ignoring my messages yet before the installation they were very responsive. I have had many issues with the solar system FM Solar Pretoria installed at my property in April, however they simply do not care. I am paying a monthly electricity bill of R2 300 even after installing a 8kva system with 10 solar panels and actively managing my usage but no one from FM Solar cares to even come investigate where the issue are with the system installed. I called the technician that did the installation (Gideon) however he told me he no longer works there and can't assist.
DO NOT BUY....I bought a property from Thirty-first Investment Pty Ltd T/A Cadence and Tyto properties in their development in Lonehill (Sierra Estate). The sales process with the sales agent (Hendrick) was okay but the final product was rather very disappointing. Most of the walls of the house were/are skew, even window reveals are out of square. I reported these snags/issues to Marc Duckitt who is incharge of the development and also works at Cadence as a development manager and basically the process has been a nightmare, they just don't care to say the least and will even force you to take occupation of a defective product through their lawyers (be careful not to sign anything with them before consulting your own lawyer). They tried fixing the skew walls by adding more plaster but still didn't do them properly because some walls started cracking and the player was already detaching (had a hollow sound), which they had to redo twice at my instruction again (After they had told me that the walls were fixed). They don't even provide you with timelines on when they will be attending and finish resolving the issues and expect you to be the one running after them to fix. Literally I am now sitting with a R3m house that is out of square and they are telling me that some of the skew walls are within the acceptable error threshold.

I used Toyghmanz Handyman services a "professional and experienced" company registered and recommended by Snupit for tiling and plumbing (bath, basin and shower installation) and his services and workmanship was rather appalling and poor. He is very nice when coming to do quotes and claims to know the work but he is not the one actually doing the work. Toughman did not even bother to check the work done by the different people he claimed to be working for him, he brought different people to my house everyday and he would just drop them off unfacilitated and leave to his new project and come back to just pick them up again without even checking/inspecting the work done. His plumber had even "mistakenly" took my bath mixer from my house for days without his knowledge and it was only returned after i asked where it was. A day after he "finished" the work at my house there was a leak underneath the new bath installed by the plumber and a week later i realised that the basin pipe was also leaking and had damaged my new basin floating cupboard. These are just a few of the things i can mention. I would not recommend Toughmanz handyman services to anyone. Clearly Snupit does not verify it's service providers.
I took delivery of a Mercedes Benz C200 at Bidvest McCarthy Gezina on Friday the 27th of January 2018 around 4pm in the afternoon. On my way home from the dealership I noticed that the car was very bumpy and suspected that the shocks might be worn off. The car was then booked in at Mercedes Benz New Vaal for inspection. I was told by Mercedes Benz New Vaal that the problem was indeed the shocks and that they needed to be replaced, furthermore Mercedes Benz pointed out that both the front fenders have not been properly fitted and repaired, the left headlight was facing down and the bonnet was not closing properly, both mag rims in the front were also bent. Mercedes Benz New Vaal advised/concluded that all the listed issues above show that the car has been in an accident (bumped on the rear and in front) and that they are not going to do any repairs to the car as the Motor Plan is now null and void because the repairs from the accident were done by a panel beater that is not Mercedes Benz approved. I then sent my brother on Monday the 5th of February 2018 to return the car to Bidvest McCarthy Gezina as I was caught up at work and couldn’t take the car back myself. On arrival he explained all the findings from Mercedes Benz New Vaal and told the sales person (Tshepo) and the manager Johann Jonk that he was returning the car. The manager at Bidvest McCarthy Gezina, Johann Jonk then told him that he cannot take the car back. The only thing he can do is ask where the dealership bought the car if the car was in an accident because he (Johann Jonk) knows that the car in question has not been in any accident. My brother called me explaining what the manager Johann Jonk was telling him, then from the background I heard someone say you are talking “Bull****”, he repeated that twice. Then my brother said "do not tell me I am talking bull**** because I am telling the person who bought the car what you told me". Johann Jonk told my brother to take the “rubbish” (referring to the Mercedes Benz C200 I brought back), Johann Jonk said he does not want the “rubbish” on his dealership floor. Johann Jonk then threatened that he would tow the car away (from his dealership) and I would have to pay for the towing and storage cost. He then told my brother to "Fokof" from his premises (the dealership). This was witnessed by staff members at the dealership. I had to leave work and drive to Pretoria to fetch my brother. I escalated the matter to Walter who is Johann Jonk's senior but I did not get any joy from talking to him as he evidently took Johann Jonk's side. I have been trying to get hold of Hendrik Vermaak who is Walter's senior with no luck as I cannot get passed his personal assistant who keeps taking messages for him but he never gets back to me. This is very appalling. The car has been left at Bidvest McCarthy Gezina and I am left with no car.
I have had an Edgars account for over 5 years now and have been an Good paying customer. About 3 months ago I owed about R2700 on the account and have been paying amounts the exceed the required monthly installments as I wanted to payoff the account. In August I received my statement and no amount was due nor overdue on the account. Towards mid September I received an sms stating that an amount of R153 was due and that I had to pay the amount in order to maintain my good paying record. I then went to Legit and paid a R1000 into the account. On 12 October 2015 I applied for vehicle financing and I was told by the bank that it will not be approved as my ITC records show that I owe Edgars R153. So this has created a bad credit record to my name. The bank consultant told me that I need to wait for Edgards to update my ITC record then only then can I try apply for vehicle financing. What I do not understand is that I paid the account a month ago but still Edgars has failed to update their records. <br> <br> This is very unfair on customers because now I cannot buy a car because of someone failing to do their job. I need an explanation for this.
