Absolutely shocked by Coricraft Clearwater mall staff, I received vouchers as a wedding gift a few years ago (2015) and finally decided to use them. I presented the receipts for the vouchers to Mr Nathan Inggs and Mr David Langa wanting to use them to supplement a payment for a couch. Upon scanning the vouchers the aforementioned employees said that they could not find the credit on their system and their credit dept. must have ''archived the credit'' they indicated that they would need to liaise with head office credit dept. to retrieve the funds and they would contact me the following Monday. Mr Inggs contacted me on the Monday and said all was well, the credit would be assigned to me upon the filling out of a re-reinstatement of credit form (which I filled out and submitted back to Mr Inggs). Ten days later with no further correspondence from Mr Inggs I assumed all was well and went back to Coricraft Clearwater (as I wanted to purchase an item and use my credit). Mr Langa looked on his computer and said the credit had not been released, he then changed his story and suddenly said that vouchers expire? I asked him to show me terms and conditions or a policy which referenced the expiry of gift vouchers whereafter he indicated ''I do not know of such a policy or terms and conditions''. I asked to speak to the store manager (who wasn't there) so I asked if they had her cell number so that I could explain the situation, Mr Langa refused to give me her (Janine) cell phone number and said that he would call her for me, he called her and she refused to help and refused to talk to me on the cell phone. I then asked Mr Inggs (who seems to have had no training on customer relations and is barely conversant in english) why he had not told me of the issues with the credit subsequent to me issuing him with all the paperwork he had requested, this is when he started developing an attitude, went red in the face, starting getting an aggressive tone and started rolling his eyes at me saying ''I must keep my mouth shut or else I am going to get into trouble'' and '' how dare I make him panic about the vouchers''. Mr Inggs and Mr Langa are completely unprofessional, don't know how to speak to clients, are not aware of their own organisation's policies, are ill equipped when it comes to conflict resolution and were both completely unwilling to help.
I was looking to rent a unit in Linden and tried to get hold of the letting agent Carina van der Linde, she didnt answer her cell phone (which is acceptable considering estate agents are busy people) so I called their office number and asked if I could possibly speak to another agent who could aid me in my enquiry. Carina answered the phone at the office and was extremely rude to me, saying 'ive just moved a tenant in for the last two hours!!' she treated me like dirt on the floor. I strongly advise that people in the Linden area seek help from other estate agencies because Linprop are clearly extremely unprofessional and rude. With the current economic climate you would think Linprop would emphasize client relations but clearly this is not a priority for them.
I cancelled my Telkom line in Telkom Clearwater Mall and received a reference number, three months late I get a call from VVM attorneys demanding money for my unpaid Telkom line. Sis this is disgusting how can this 'law firm' represent such a pathetic institution such as Telkom, they know that Telkom's admin is a ball of sh$t but instead of clarifying the matter with Telkom they call me (an innocent tax payer) and demand money from me. Shame on you VVM.
