Active since Feb 2013
I took out a loan with Sanlam in 2018. I paid it off in 2022. To my surprise, this account is very much open and active on the Credit Bureau. This gives the impression that I'm over-indebted, when this is not even the case. I would like for this to be sorted ASAP, else I'll have no option but to escalate the matter with the relevant body.
I bought a bedding set in 2021 from Pres Les from one of its distributors. Upon receipt, I realised that it wasn't exactly what I expected. I returned the purchase immediately and attempted to exchange for something different. That became mission impossible. I then canceled the order altogether, and closed the account. To my surprise, the account still reflects as open and overdue. Even after many attempts to get this account closed, as it doesn't reflect well on my credit. I have had about enough of this. Should it not be attended as soon as possible, I will have no choice but to take the next step in resolving this issue
I have always used payflex, mainly for its convenience and being able to purchase items and pay over a few instalments without interest. Due a lost bank card, my details had changed, and unfortunately they weren't able to get their instalment on the set date, just the very next day, interest has been charged on that instalment, when according to their own policy, interest is only charged after 3 days. Surely this is wrong and *****ulent.
On the 30th of November, I ordered shoes on the Castelo Exclusive Fashion website; and because I needed the shoes urgently, I opted to collect them, at the Melrose Arch branch. At no point on the website is it stated that the shoes that are being sold may not be found in any store. I then called on the 1st of December, early in the morning, to confirm that I will be collecting the pair of shoes. The lady on the other side of the line only then mentioned that the shoes aren't guaranteed to be at the store, as they may either be at the warehouse or in CPT. She then asked that I give her about 15 minutes so that she can check. The lady did not call. After close to 2 hours, I called the store back, for four times without any answer. On my fifth attempt, only then did someone answer. It was then that I was told that the shoe is in fact in CPT. Can it be known that I was in the Johannesburg area at the time these calls were being made. It was only after this call that I had to make plan b, and this meant purchasing an available pair at another store, and then drove home to the Vaal. It was only after 5pm that I got a text from one of the ladies who work at the store to say the shoe is in the store. This can only mean that the shoe was always there, but the lady did not care to check thoroughly. This can be deduced by how uncertain she was with the questions I was asking pertaining to the shoe and the store itself (with lots of chit chatting in the background - story for another day). With a new pair of shoes bought, and me being in the Vaal already, I do not think that it is reasonable for the store to expect me to keep the shoes. At the heart of this, is the fact that the store staff were ***********, and gave false information about the shoe. Essentially, the store returns policy is there to ***** customers over, even when the problem is caused by their own staff members. I had not budgeted for two pairs of shoes. And it goes without saying that their shoes are not cheap.
I just want to acknowledge the great work done by Wandile, in ensuring that I get my package swiftly. His patience during the call was incredible, and that is highly appreciated. Your organisation is blessed to have him as a part of your team.
I bought a car from webuycars south in april 2022. Not only were they dishonest in the contract, which saw me financially inconvenienced, they never disclosed that they car they were selling was in an accident prior to me purchasing it. Upon discovering this, I took the car back. These people will not close the account, which is a further inconvenience, as I'm not able to purchase a car with that one still open. WeBuyCars, together with MFC (as I have notified them about the situation - their repesentative promised to call me back, over a month later and still nothig) are cheating people out of their hard earned money. Cruelty at its best, even in these extremely economically tryig times. I want my money back.
I took a loan with Sanlam a few years ago, and I've recently paid it up before the end of its term. Because I struggled to get hold of anyone to know exactly how much I needed to pay, I paid more than I should have. Now to get my refund, I have been sent from pillar to post. At times the phone just goes silent until it cuts me off. I want my money back Sanlam!
What a horrible experience I've had with WeBuyCars South. Not only were they untruthful in their conduct, which has cost me greatly, but they don't care about this, as long as they meet their target, but this whole ordeal has caused me emotional distress, as it has affected my other affairs. I got a call from someone from the company, and I'm still waiting to get any concrete feedback from them, either than them saying I should have read what I was signing. If they were ethical, none of this would be happening. Chandre Nelson has caused me a whole lot of grief, as well as Anton Viljoen. Now neither of them want to be involved in a mess they created. On top of that, the Dekra reports that are given are questionable, as there seems to be a whole lot more wrong with the car than what is stated in the Dekra report. I am so unhappy, and will not ever be making use of their services, nor would advise anyone to do the same. I am still waiting for this matter to be resolved
Recently bought a car from WE BUY CARS SOUTH, and was assisted by Anton Viljoen and their finance lady Chandre Nelson. I specifically asked the sales rep for a specific date for repayments to begin, and when he said it can't be done, I opted to cancel the whole deal, only for him to speak to their finance lady and make an arrangement...to cut the long story short, they have no business ethics and were untruthful in every possible way. And when I enquire about what was happening, Chadre very rudely via text said that no one forced me to sign anything and to take it up with their complaints department if I have an issue. They are selfish and don't care about their customers, just chasing to make a sale. Do not care about how their greed affects their customers. Never ever will I buy from this organisation again
