Active since Mar 2013
I have been active on Carbonite for approximately 2 years. I have also made a few sales as well as bought some items from other individuals and a few resellers in this time. ONE ASPECT OF KEY IMPORTANCE is to ensure the individual/s you are interacting with have a good positive rating - I would even stress avoiding any folk with a NEUTRAL or NEGATIVE rating whatsoever. Above that point, if you are dealing with someone who has NO RATING or a very LOW RATING ask who can vouch for them. People are people, and some of those will try to have you pay money for something that probably never existed in the first place. Get photos, and with tech, performance metrics. Have the person's cell phone number and address before sending $$$'s. I sometimes even check to see if the individual sends posts and what feedback they get through iTrader, too. Juertes on Carbonite
I bought a promotional item from Holland Tech and received it with overnight delivery / within 24 hrs of payment. I also received a thank you gift 'schweet deal' along with my purchase, which in my experience is simply phenomenal. It puts a smile on any customer's face!
Be warned if you buy from TechnoPro. They scam you by not refunding once receiving payment and then stock is sold-out. Many people complain of the same behavior. First read the reviews on BidOrBuy, HelloPeter and Google, and save yourself the hassle of dealing with these hacks. There are many other small businesses that won't steal your money. If you must buy from them, do it on BidOrBuy to get Buyer Protection. 02/06/2021 : Bought an item online (in stock) and then payment confirmed. Was informed it's out of stock a few days later and my details handed over to 'Kobie [The Director]' for processing. I followed up with them to give me a timeline, emailing every day and calling, but they won't budge and NEVER respond, with both Bianca [Ops Manager] and Felicia giving me the same lack of information. You're not allowed to speak to Kobie, he's too busy for such. Three weeks is the timeline for a refund according to the Consumer Act. Know your rights. I reported these fraudsters to the Ombudsman for Consumer Goods & Services (CGSO) and also FNB Fraud Department after 6 weeks. Spend an extra R400 elsewhere to get what you pay for, else it'll be R400 airtime spent. I will also open a case of Fraud at the Randburg Police Station to proceed to Small Claims Court, after the required period has elapsed. This does not stop here.
I purchased some battery packs from this Online Merchant for a Router and Fiber CPE, with extra peripherals. The service I got from Victor K. was exceptional, friendly and overall very helpful. I highly recommend doing business.

Incredibly bad service, if you'd even call it service. 1 Star is even too much... Paid for a geyser weather cover that was in stock online, due to their 'competitive pricing'. After getting numerous automated emails of my order status over a period of a week, I got an email that the item is not available. Probably cost them more than I had paid...since it's available everywhere else! Sent an email with my refund details, and they haven't been able to respond for over two weeks. Bianca Laubscher is the OM, however doesn't appear to be able to do anything. Everything goes through to Kobie van Zyl. He/She will ignore you, who knows if this is even a real human. Do not give your money to this place, since that is what you will be doing eventually - a gift for them to ***** you over. Phone 011-792-6034 and choose #1 and you might get through to Felicia. None of the other options work, and you'll be shutdown. You have to keep phoning and keep emailing every day, even every hour. This place is not worth the time and effort of online purchases and you'll have no option but to keep calling.
I moved over from another very reputable and popular ISP - for FTTH - to Level-7. Carla was my 'go-to' contact. Very friendly, efficient and quick responses via email and took the initiative to get me signed-up as well as address my issues telephonically when I asked what the status was. Vaughn also assisted me with registration and was patient (Extra stars for patience) and friendly. I give 4 stars, as I was left in the lurch waiting for my FTTH ID to be switched over, and Level-7 did not appear to follow-up on this or inform me that my ID was not visible to them... I had to keep poking to find out 'where my connectivity was at'. Furthermore, I don't find any sort of portal or App to track my connectivity/invoicing or daily/monthly usage. I'm looking forward to a good relationship!
My DStv premium subscription bill is always more than it should be (R939). They over quote me every month and then block my the 23rd telling me I owe some abstract amount. I have a scheduled payment on the midnight of the 26th, every month. This month it was R1,023... I have had to phone on four occasions now, and the agents are really not helpful, not to mention I've had to spend over R200 in airtime to stay on calls as it's not toll-free either...yes, I've been on call for a total of 2.5hrs+ in the past 4 days. I got one Reference number: 61035989-i109. They say they don't increase the premium, why is R939 then not enough. Are you trying to be politically inclined too? I am so damn glad I don't have a debit order with this business, else they would be deducting from my account every other day until I have nothing left coz my DStv app quotes me different amounts every other day, and I AM PAID UP TO DATE for R939! Idiocracy.
I resigned from my previous employer in June 2017, and completed all the forms I was given for AF to transfer my funds from the Provident Fund to a Preservation Fund. To date, this instruction still has not been carried out. I have spoken to agents over the phone at AF, and told the funds are transferred to an unclaimed benefits fund. For over 6 months I have been going back and forth trying to get a response: > No one has bothered to call me back; > Phoning the 'helpdesk' led to 20+ minutes waiting for someone to answer, only to be told I would be called back... NOTHING! > Logged a number of enquiries on the online portal, with absolutely no feedback; > I was told I would get assistance from a Financial Consultant (Graham K*****) who never responded to my mail. How on earth does a big FSP like this justify their credibility when dealing with private 'human' investors? Must I be a company before I'm taken seriously? This has been dragging on for nearly a year now, and I'm sure that AF has been getting nice interest off my investment... What must I do to move my investment, since investing with AF is a big no-no
Hi there, I've purchased tickets, accommodation, transport, insurance...the whole shebang for an euro visit end June '18. Now we need to get a Visa for Portugal through VFS, but the website does allow you to choose an appointment or date. I can see the 'next available date slot', but can't choose any options... Yes...I've tried on over three computers and two phones. I've logged an enquiry with the info- email and the feedback- email. Ironically, no response. I went to the VFS Global offices this morning @ 08:15 to make an appointment in person. I gave two copies of the passports as request by the door-guard and the 'official' with no name behind the glass door. I told the guard, to tell me, that I would be contacted with an available time before the end of today. IT IS NOW THE END OF TODAY. WHY IS THE SERVICE SO PATHETIC??? The worst is, now I still need to pay a "service fee" for two Visa applications
