Caution when buying from Chris Forklifts. He sells equipment with a 6month guarantee. Once the forklift is delivered, you never see him again. He promises over and over that he will come and honour his guarantee but he never pitches. Dismal communication... over promise and under delivery at its best.
Be warned, Don't touch this company. Owner sold me a graphics card knowing that it was faulty. The second the sale was done he blocked my number and refuses to answer messages.
I have been dealing with The Real Pet co since Jan 2016 and have absolutely nothing but good things to say about their service , products and business ethics. Ruan is knowledgeable on the products he sells and has always given me sound advise on recommended productys for my pets.

It's no shocker that takealot only manage to swing 10% of the unhappy customers to become satisfied customers. The incompetence is overwelming and their unwillingness to resolve the matter is a true sign of what NOT TO DO IN BUSINESS.

On the 17th October 2016, one of the products on the daily deals was a TOMTOM Runner 2 watch with built in heart rate monitor. I ordered it imnmediately, based on the fact that I hate chest straps and needed a new fitness watch. I bought it and collected it later that day.

It was a few days later when I downloaded all the apps and downloaded my data that I saw that there was no details on the heart rate tab. It was only after a bit of investigation that I found out that the watch I bought(that was advertised) and the watch I received, where different. I phoned takealot advising them of the issue. I was told that they will supply feedback.

I left the issue for a few days as I was too busy to actively use the watch daily. It was only when I got a call from a Takealot cutomercare agent saying that they had managed to secure a deal with their supplier and that they would be sending me a new device. I was told by the agent that they had secured a brand new watch with built in heart rate monitor.... I was sent a link to what was going to be sent. I was even told that I could keep the old device as it was their mistake on the advertising error.

That is where I thought, Takealot really care and have acknowledged fault by replacing the incorrect unit. NOT THE CASE AT ALL! After numerous calls and loads of emails, I couldn't get an answer from anyone about when I was actually going to receive the new device. Sunday 27 Nov 2016, I receive an email to say that an order is ready for collection. I go look at the order on the Takelot site, only to find that their big solution is a chest heart rate monitor strap. I had explicitly mentioned that a chest strap is not an option, as I won't wear it.

After all the communication, I finally received a call from the customer relations manager(Leeanne) from Takealot. She acknowledged that their ad was wrong and apologised for their customer care agent promising me something that I wasn't going to actually get. She also stated that he sent me the incorrect link in error and that she understands my situation... but still refuses to do anything about it. It is the chest strap or nothing..and I must just suck it it up and be happy about it. I even suggested the option for me to return the current watch(R1400 on sale) and they keep their heart rate monitor strap (worth R800) and give me the R2000 watch , which is what I initially ordered... and didn't get. She flat out said "No, we will not do that". I am done dealing with Takealot and would like to say that I am truly appalled by you lack of customer care service.

I gave written instruction to legalwise to cancel my policy on the 7th feb 2014. The exact phrase used and highlighted was\ Please cancel my subscription and remove me from your mailing list and databases... with immediate effect. I cc'd the Legalwise Bellville office, as well as the Legalwise customercare department.
This instruction clearly fell on deaf ears and was ignored. They proceeded to debit my account until today.
I havent scrutinised my bank statement as it was a small amount but realised that the debit order was still coming off... 2 years after I instructed them to cancel my service with them. I contacted their branch on 19/01/2016 to tell them that they have been deducting money from me for 2 years, which I found totally unacceptable. I don't want their service.. and haven't wanted it for 2 years already. I have today received a letter from a Mrs Maggie Moeng in Premium Management to say that they acknowledge my request and will refund nothing. They also stated that my service will only be terminated from 1 March 2016. I have never dealt with a more useless company, in all my life. Notice given 2 years ago and still get burnt with another 2 months of premiums."
