I am writing this report because I told Kay on 7 December that if I did not receive my deposit that day I would take to Hello Peter. Shubone were to deliver 250 Tiffany chairs to my event the morning of Friday 27 Nov. <br> <br> By 3pm they were still not there. I assumed they had taken my money and run because:<br> 1. I read other reviews on Hello Peter<br> 2. The lady manning the landline put the phone down on me twice and then took the phone off the hook!<br> 3. None of the other phone lines worked.<br> <br> I was in a panic trying to organise other chairs two hours before my event started. I had no one to contact. My husband drove to their address & found someone else waiting there for draping! The chairs were delivered half an hour before the event started. The man delivering was unbelievably rude and refused to put the cushions on the chairs. Late delivery. Zero contact. Refused to set up when delivered late and now I STILL have not been paid back my deposit!!<br> <br> As an event organiser I have NEVER dealt with such terrible service.
I went to FNB Sandton to buy forex. I didn't have my passport so was told I couldn't buy. I'm flying today so went home got my passport and went to Randburg branch where I was told sorry the guy is on lunch and will only be back 1.5 hours later!! So now I must make a third trip to another branch. I am getting so sick and tired of bad service in every industry.
We love Mezopli and have come to the restaurant often. Once before we were told it would be a 10 minute wait. 40 minutes later we got a table. But tonight we went throw early at 4:30 (you can't book before 6pm). We arrived and the manager was giving our children dirty looks. We waited for quite sometime before he came to help. We wanted a table for 4. There were 3 open tables and he said just wait a minute. 5 minutes later I went to him again and he said we are getting a table ready inside. I said please can we sit outside for the kids. So he said there isn't a table available. I said there are 3. He said they need to get them ready for dinner later. It was 4:30! He said just take a seat we will get you a table in a minute. 15 minutes later and not even an offer of a drink, we were still waiting so we left. So disappointing. Their food is amazing but that attitude and service puts us off ever going back
I need to renew my SA passport and found Qline online. They looked professional. I paid my R1200 in order for their service which was to expedite queuing at home affairs. I followed the driver to home affairs and was greeted by their representative with a terrible attitude. My ticket was called after half an hour and I then took verbal abuse from everyone else waiting and was told my ticket was cancelled and I must go to the back of the queue. I have had a few items shipped to me from Canada over the past 6 months. TNT has been used every time but I now want to change courier. Delivery has been late EVERY SINGLE TIME! I have had to phone every single time to put pressure on TNT to get them to stick to the delivery date. I have had enough. I was told by Olean that my package would be delivered on Thursday 14 May (he had forgotten to mark the customs as paid! I had paid customs on 12 May! So already two days delayed because it had not been marked).<br> Nothing arrived Thursday 14th. I phoned Friday 15th May. I was promised delivery that day. Nothing. Today, Monday 18 May I phoned this morning and was told to contact Gilal (sp?) which I did. He promised me the delivery would come today! Gilal called me later this afternoon to tell me it couldn't be delivered today and I told him not an option. I had rearranged meetings for these samples now 3 times due to no delivery and could not reschedule the meeting tonight! He called back and promised it would be delivered by 7pm this evening. NOTHING! I have compromised my business relationships due to changing meetings and now canceling last minute due to no delivery! Don't use TNT!
