On 30 September I contacted Iwyze to give a comparative quote. Ive sent all the documents, and was promised that they will call me. 18 Days later, I still have heard nothing! So now, they havent contacted me and they have my personal information. So if you take out a policy with them and there is an emergency, will they also take that long to respond? Terrible service from them so far!!!!
I have had an Afrihost Fibre Line since the 2017 at my previous Home. When I moved at the end of January 2021, I requested that the line be moved to my new place. All was fine until there was bad line speed and constant connection issues. Logged numerous amount of calls and tried to have the issue resolved. At the end, I decided to cancel my line and move to a different service provider that could solve the problem. Bear in mind I had a month to month contract in place. When I called them to cancel, there was NO mention that there would be a cancellation fee, and I feel as though I am being punished for getting a solution to a problem that could not be sorted by Afrihost! Thanks alot Afrihost for robbing me blindly! Leaves much to be desired!!!!
<p>So, just over a year has passed after receiving my (what I thought was a new phone) from MTN insurance, and now I am having even worse problems with my device. The problems dont stop there! When MTN sent me one of their refurbished mobile devices, I never received an updated IMEI number in order for me to log repairs. Worst of all, I called the ********** as supplied by the call centre, I was on hold for more than 25 minutes, and when I was next in line, the call went dead! This is once again super frustrating! You pay everymonth, and then when you call for support, you cannot get hold of anyone! </p> <p> </p> <p>To add insult to injury, I will probably be without a phone for 5 weeks... And i cannot because I am planning my wedding! </p> <p> </p> <p>IS MTN ever gonna treat me fairly????? </p> <p> </p> <p>SUPER ANNOYED WITH THE ****PY SERVICE!!!</p>
<p>About 2 months ago, I took a active decision to start curbing my spend on my MTN contract. When my cellphone bill came, the invoice amounted to the same as usual. I analysed the invoice and realised that on one of my contracts, MTN was charging me twice for the insurance on one of my contracts. I called the customer care to alert them immediately. The response was that Its an insurance matter and they cannot assist. One of the call centre agents actually took my request further (because Ive stated that i cannot get through to the MTN Insurance dept). She also confirmed that i have been double billed for insurance from the inception of the contract. This is been going on for 18 months approximately. I have received 4 refernce numbers, but not once did they call me. The kind agent that assisted me, said it would take approximately 21 business days (excluding weekend) to resolve. I called this morning... NO MOVEMENT! </p> <p> </p> <p>My problem is that I should be refunded for the 18 months worth of insurance that I have been double paid! MTN is so quick to bill me, but when I lodge a query, I have to wait more than a month to receive any feedback. </p> <p> </p> <p>I need this matter resolved as soon as possible, cause i have just checked, they are still double billing me! </p> <p> </p> <p>I am really not impressed with the terrible service I have received ffrom MTN in the last few months that I am considering taking all my business elsewhere, as my two active contracts are up for renewal shortly! </p> <p> </p> <p>Frustated Customer! </p>
Good day <br> <br> 5 days has now passed since i received a reply on Hello Peter from Ayanda from MTN. I still have not heard anything from them regarding the claim! No accountability, or contact-ability from this supplier! This is ridiculous! I was promised the matter will be escalated, but absolutely nothing has been done! I am disgusted. Not impressed with the service I have received! To add insult to injury, I have received 4 reference numbers for this including the reference number from my previous post (6544713)!
I have a contract cellphone with MTN with insurance, Sim-sure and excess buster. On 31 March 2016, i contacted the call centre to advise on what the necessary steps were in order for the unit to be repaired or replaced, since the phone is bending (Iphone 6 plus) and the silent button on the side is faulty. I submitted the forms on that very same day and received a reference number for the claim, and stating that the expected turnaround time for feedback is 5 days. To date, NO ONE has contacted me, and when I try to call MTN Insurance to find out what is the progress of this matter, the call is disconnected. I am at my wits end here. In fact, I emailed the inquiries email address again today (12/04/2016), and instead of providing feedback on the matter, another reference number was raised. <br> <br> I called MTN call centre that then put me through to the Insurance department, and a very friendly lady assured me that she had just escalated the matter, and I should receive feedback by close of business 11/04/2016, but alas... No Feedback! <br> <br> Seriously planning on taking my business elsewhere!
I had the pleasure of making use of the services of Mobi Skim today! <br> <br> What a breath of fresh air to receive excellent customer service from Dick Bothma and the lady at the reception. Was greeted with a friendly face and kept us updated with the process along the way! My faith is partially restored in the customer service in South Africa.<br> <br> Would definitely recommend the establishment. <br> <br> Thank you
