De Ruyter Plumber - dishonest
I paid a R10 000 deposit on 22 Aug 2025 for the installation of an additional geyser at my house. This job was never done and the deposit also never paid back.

Dekra (Rosslyn)
I recently bought a vehicle from Autoworld, Pretoria (review available) that was inspected by Dekra Rosslyn. They gave the vehicle a clean bill of health, with signs of minor accident. After taking ownership of the vehicle the following faults were found: Brights were not working - Xenon light controllers failed (cost to repair R9k) Xenon bulbs had low intensity - faulty Xenon bulbs (another R9k to replace) Vehicle had accident damage to the front - both light housing and controllers were replaced with after market parts Accident damage to the front plastic bumper - a normal ***** put through the plastic to keep the bumper in place Bash plate have a huge knock on the steel. According to Dekra (Rosslyn branch) all of this was the results of minor accident damage. My assumption would be that they are working with Autoworld, Pretoria in selling faulty vehicles and giving false assurances of the condition of the vehicle. I bought the vehicle base on their inspection thereof. I ended having to pay R18.5k to have working lights on the vehicle and still have an accident damaged vehicle with aftermarket light housings (although I bought a vehicle with a valid VW warrantee Assignment number: 2016396240 Technician: Christopher Menu

<div>I bought a bakkie through them. During a pre-inspection it was mentioned that there is a problem with the vehicle lights. I was told it is a bulb that replacement and will be fixed Bakkie was collected from Johannesburg on my cost (about R4500) and on my way back the lights was still faulty. I informed them and they wanted me to bring the bakkie back to them (on my cost). I took the bakkie to the local VW dealer (it was still supposed to be under warrantee) for repairs. I was informed that it was repaired previous with.second hand parts and.thw warranty is not valid. I had to repair the bakkie on my cost and Autoworld is doing nothing to refund me Do not buy from them, they are not an.honest business and will provide no back up if they sell you a dud.</div>

Nedbank credit card ****
Nedbank credit card division is ridiculous. They deduct the minimum payment from your bank account and when you then transfer the money, to pay off your card, they charge a ridiculous amount of interest. I transferred R36k INTO my credit card and was charged R1048 worth of finance charge for this. If you pay off your card, they penalize you with an finance charge.
