This is the most frustrating business I have ever had to deal with, 6 weeks of trying to get a claim paid sorted out. Their digital channels just don't work, no one responds to email as it's a "large" mailing group. Everytime you call in, it's a a wait and then get transferred to a random agent that has no clue or background as to the claim - they can't transfer you. I have the senior claim agents direct email, and I am still not getting a response. The claim has been approved for two weeks, but I have been given zero feedback on payment since then.
Bought an Aqua Scale Childs bath from the Umhlanga store a month ago. After a few uses the scale function stopped working. Kids Emporium refuses to swap it for a working unit, according to the manager the "Bath is water damaged" and they have no recourse with the supplier and will not take any action, claims I should have bought a more expensive Stokke unit. This is in breach of the consumer protection act, and poor customer service from a store that should be differentiating to compete with the larger stores. Unfortunate really.

3 days, and 2 visits to get a simple sim swap done, still waiting for it to be completed. No follow up from the consultants in the store - pathetic customer service. An indication of the culture of MTN, not impressed.

Great customer service from Anton in the parts department!

Much thanks to Santmay and the team at Ooba Durban for assisting with my home loan applications. A sterling example of how customer service should be conducted, always friendly, customer centric and willing to go the extra mile!
