I purchased a low-fat plain yogurt at my local Hyperland supermarket earlier in this week, supermarket. And the taste like there's paraffin or some sort of concerning liquid. It's runny. It's not as thick as a consistency that I would expect. So I just want to know what the process is if I want to send the product to you for you to test for possible cross-contamination to see if the batch itself was affected. It is still prior to the BB date on the tub. I would appreciate a review of the production for this specific batch.
Takealot is in the business of false advertising. I subscribe to their Takealot Now, premium option. Yesterday, the 17th June, I purchased an Industrial Scale which the platform indicated 'Get It Todayy'. Their T's and C's indicate that the most accurate delivery/collection is provided on checkout. Going through the payment process, on Checkout it indicated it would be available for collection today (the day after purchase) or for delivery on Thursday the 19th June. These were the available options to select from. I opted for collection since I would have the item a day early and completed the purchase. When the confirmation email comes in, all of a sudden the earliest collection date is 22 June, 3 to 4 days later than what was indicated on the platform. I called their contact centre and was advised their backend team had not updated stock availability, hence the discrepancy. I am back on the platform today and the same item still had the 'Get It Today' indicator. This means they are deliberately applying this indicator for the purpose of pushing sales. What annoys me even more is that on my call I asked to be provided with an email with links to scales I can buy and collect today i.e. same day or day after purchase. I was promised this but it has also not been sent to me.
I was incorrectly debited a double debit on the 25th and till today, this has not been resolved. I have been engaging with Customer Care and shared the relevant documentation but my refund has not been processed to me. I have been promised call backs and resolution, and neither has happened. Even the email I sent, the response I received shows that the consultant did not bother reading my email to establish the actual query and responded to something unrelated
My aunt passed away on the 16th of March and to this day, 1Life has been of no help. I have been going from pillar to post getting all the documents they require but still - NOTHING. They have received the Death Certificate and all details pertaining to her death but unfortunately since she passed away due to unnatural causes ( an accident at home while cooking, mind you ) I am the one who is calling the police station day in and day out trying to get ahold of the Investigating Officer ( I keep getting advised to try but noone's trying on their end ) so he can give them a Post Mortem Report and Body Identification Form. Even with a Notice of Death that clearly states the cause of death. I am very disappointed because in other words, 1Life expects my aunt to be lying in a mortuary ( which they don't even cover ) while we wait for forms that will not be telling them anything new. Each time I call, I am provided with new information and hurdles to jump through, I feel like I am being lied to in an effort to not get a payout. If I am not offered any resolution on this, I am going to the Ombudsman, surely this is not what I have been paying premiums for.
