<p>After reading all the complaints on Hello Peter and realising this company is doing the same as what they are to me, to everyone, I have felt the need to share my terrible experience. Also, as a side note, Funky Tights Facebook page MONITORS visitors posts, which means they do not publish negative posts, giving them a false sense of 'Customer Satisfaction'. That is also why I am here to share my frustrations and experience.</p> <p> </p> <p>Order History:</p> <p> </p> <p>March 17- Ordered (A very LARGE order) and paid immediatly. Sent email for confirmation of delivery 7-14 working days ( which should be 7 April)</p> <p> </p> <p>12 April- email Funky Tights for my order. Receive a reply to say stuff is stuck at customs and gave me the option to wait, change order to what is available or for a refund.</p> <p>I waited a few more days before responding.</p> <p> </p> <p>18 April- responded to their email. Asked what they DO have available from my order.</p> <p>19 April- Monique Replied with what was available. I decided I would be patient and wait a bit more because Monique kept saying that the item should be released from Customs within the next week.</p> <p> </p> <p>3 May- Items still 'not released from customs'. I emailed Monique and asked her to send me what they did have of my order in the mean time. she approved and said she would send me a tracking number shortly.</p> <p> </p> <p>9 May (5 Days after Monique said she would send a tracking number!) I emailed asking where was my tracking number. Monique replied and said she will check on it and revert "shortly".</p> <p> </p> <p>15 May (5 DAYS AFTER I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A TRACKING NUMBER "SHORTLY") I emailed Monique and shared my absolute disgust in the terrible lack of customer service and demanded a refund. Monique replied with the EXACT same thing she had been telling me for the last 2 months "We are still waiting on this to clear customs. We do have other items in stock, which we can send a list to you? We are hoping that it will be this week but should you prefer a refund please send us your banking details."</p> <p>I reminded her that I told her i wanted the items from my order thate WERE avilable and she said she would send a tracking number to me 2 weeks ago! she had been telling me that the items at customs would clear within a week for the last month and a half! reiterated the fact i want my money back.</p> <p> </p> <p>16 May: I emailed asking when I would get my refund- No response</p> <p>17 May: Again I asked where my refund was. Monique said it has been sent to the finance department and would clear in 1-2 days</p> <p>22 May: Still no refund! emailed and asked for my refund AGAIN. Monique replied and said she has sent it to finance and she would send pop the same day.</p> <p>23 May: No pop received and no refund received. I emailed them AGAIN asking for it.- No response</p> <p>24 May; I emailed AGAIN for my refund and also said I will report them to the consumer commision if i do not receive me refund the same day. Monique replied and said she will send it to Finaance and she is sure it has been done and she will send pop.</p> <p>Today- 25 May. STILL nothing received, emailed AGAIN. Received a response saying they see I paid via Payfast so payfast has to refund me. they will follow up and get back to me.</p> <p> </p> <p>The money came came from ME to THEM. it doesnt matter if i paid via payfast, theyneed to pay ME back, not payfast?! makes no sense!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Please be warned everyone. This company does NOThave its customer best interests at heart AT ALL!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
<p>I order OFTEN from Sandwich baron Germiston, And I always state no butter (I am allergic to butter, it aggravates my hernia and gives me hives in my mouth)</p> <p> </p> <p>My sandwich today had butter. I was quite hungry and quite honestly was gulping my sandwich down while working at my desk. I started to feel a burn in my tummy and as I looked down at my sandwich, I immediately noticed butter.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is unacceptable! Now I have to get cortisone treatments and I have to buy medicine to calm the cramps my hernia is causing.</p> <p> </p> <p>I will NOT be buying from Sandwich Baron ever again. If Sandwich Baron cannot be strict with their food policies, then people who have allergies etc need to know that your stores are to be avoided.</p> <p> </p> <p>Highly upset!</p> <p> </p>
I am now beyond frustrated! I ordered a cook book a few months ago and was invoiced for it but was delivered some other afrikaans scrap book. I got hold of lesiurebooks and they advised that I need to send them the book back so it can be credited, they also said they would credit me the postage fees.<br> I have been choosing door to door delivery of my books for a reason. I work extremely long office hours and almost never have time to go to post net etc. So it was a huge headache for me to find the time to collect my correct cook book that should have been delivered in the first place, as well as trying to find time to post the afrikaans book that was delivered to me incorrectly.<br> I posted the incorrect afrikaans book and was credited for the postage fees but not the book. I have sent SEVERAL emails to accounts as well as other direct email addresses to get credited for that afrikaans book. nothing is being done and I am furious. I am not allowed to take personal calls at the office and I really only have access to emails to do my communications on. I have recived no feedback. I HATE being a member of leisurebooks. the aggrivation is seriously not worth it!!!!!
Some how, Gym Company and Sports and Fitness are the same entity, cause Gym company are debiting my account on BEHALF of Sports and Fitness, even though I have NEVER had an agreement with Gym Company EVER. <br> Anyway! I cancelled my contract 6 years ago with sports and fitness. Gym company started debiting me sep 2014 for sports and fitness saying they dont have proof of cancellation. This is clearly illegal and i tried to sort it out on a private level, but they didnt want to admit fault. I hired a wonderful attorney who took my case to court, Court favoured me (Obviously)& sent Clive an official order to STOP debiting my account ever again. <br> A month later,& guess what? My account was debited yesterday. The amount has changed as well, from R289 to R199. So if these people feel they are so above the law, then what makes anyone think they can convince them to see the light and to show them they are committing illegal activities? <br> So more court battles coming up I guess!<br> For everyone on here complaining, please remember that Hello Peter is just a webiste, it wont solve your issues (Especially if the supplier doesnt check complaints etc) So your best bet will be to go the legal rout
Unfortunately I did not get the name of the young Manager that treated my Fiance' and I like children on the 18th April at approximately 14:30.<br> <br> We went to the express till because all we had were some chips and snacks for a family dinner we were going to. My Fiance' asked for a box of cigarettes and the teller went to go and fetch a box.<br> Next thing we know, the Manager very loudly and in a VERY insulting and very loud manner moaned at us and said \In future you must buy cigarettes at the cigarette counter. That's why there is a cigarette counter in the first place and then you don't waste the Tellers time".<br> <br> I beg your pardon?! How dare you talk to us in such a manner! Who is in the wrong here? I would say YOU are! How can you moan at CUSTOMERS when you have not got a single sign up informing customers of your rules?! why don't you train Teller staff to respond to cigarette requests by saying Customers have to buy directly from the cigarette kiosk? I am disgusted at your attitude. Well done Pick n Pay"
From what I have read on Hello Peter, Legal firms seem to have the most complaints. It seems Legal firms really take advantage of innocent people. This is NOT the case with Dreyer Engelbrecht Attorneys!<br> <br> Jaco has been so very helpful and so patient with my case. I have never belonged to 'The Gym Company', but they have decided they will debit my account on behalf of SPORTS AND FITNESS ALBERTON. It seems the owenr of these gyms is the same guy- CLIVE. <br> I cancelled with sports and fitness 6 YEARS ago and the gym company started taking money from me Sep 2014. They claim to have no record of cancellation so I owe them money. I dont care if they dont have record of my cancellation. any alleged debt they claim I owe, has prescribed. This is illegal. I have seen other complaints just like mine on here and want everyone to be made aware of their rights. I have had to go to an attorney to sort my issue out, as Clive refuses to admit what he is doing is against the law. Please share your stories to newspapers and all over. people must be warned about THE GYM COMPANY, SPORTS AND FITNESS AND GLENVISTA FITNESS.
As I have seen on Hello Peter and on Sports and Fitness FB page, they seem to be notorius for debiting accounts after cancellation. They claim to be a sincere company, but as I have experienced first hand, they are anything but. I joined Aug 2008. I cancelled less than 5 days later. They continued to debit me till Nov 2008. I put a stop order on their debit order. I never heard from them again. 6 Years later, Sep 2014, I saw a debit I did not recognise. when i enquired, I was told it was the gym company Whinchester hills. When I phoned them and told them I have never been a part of their gym, they said the debit order was on behalf of sports and fitness alberton. When I phoned sports and fitness and told them i cancelled 6 years ago, they said they didnt have proof and so they are debiting me for money owed. Whether they have proof of cancellation or not, they are not allowed to take money from me 6 years later. the alleged 'debt' has prescribed. What they are doing is illegal. I have had to hire an attorney as they refuse to admit they are in the wrong. I urge everyone to get familiar with the national credit act and the prescription act. Know your rights!<br> Dont join this gym.
