Useless service from Eskom. Twice I’ve waited over an hour on call centre only for the call to be cut when I reach Caller no. 1! And this just to change ownership on sale of a property.
I have had their very expensive satellite and Voip telephone for years. In December I cancelled the Voip service and they took it upon themselves to send me a quote to cancel the satellite internet service. Two long and tedious calls to them later I thought the problem was resolved. In January they send their invoice with a cancellation charge. I contact them by email expalaining the problem and that it was the Voip and not the satellite that was to be cancelled. On 1 February they duly canceled the satellite service. This company is run by people who do not care a fig for their customers.
I had a Discovery Card back in the day (via FNB). Since they have become a bank in their own right I have not renewed the card, but they continue to charge me! Tried several times to close this but was told to do it online - easy to open an account online but impossible to close one. I am out of pocket every month!
This company promises and doesn't deliver. Ordered a bed for my dog and initially delivery was 12 June. Now they say first week in July. This was a promotion item - surely you have stock when you have a promotion? They are still advertising sales on Facebook and instagram. Reference #8585
My Shyft account has been blocked. On enquiry I was told it was a Reserve Bank block and given an email address to respond to. It is over a month since I queried it and I get no replies from Standard bank
I had a Discovery credit card from the past (issued by FNB). This expired at the end of December and I chose not to renew it. Discovery continue to charge me monthly for an expired credit card! I have emailed them to no avail and I do not want to get caught up in a dystopian call centre so the charges continue! As for a refund on charges......
I have a 'supposed' satellite internet service from Vox. They are the most useless organisation that i have ever dealt with. Their staff do not return calls and you get passed from pillar to post. It has been six weeks now since I approved a quote to upgrade my system and they have still not done anything.
Definitely a scam. Steer well clear! If it sounds to good to be true it probably is!
