This is the most pathetic online store there is. Please do not support them, as they dont care about service delivery, or their customers. I have been waiting more than a month for items purchased, and I am yet to receive any feedback from Leroy Merlin. When I placed the order, the initial waiting period for delivery was 15 days. This is already a long time to wait for online delivery, but I accepted that. On the day delivery was supposed to happen, I followed up, as I didnt hear anything from them. I got a reply saying that the ETA has moved on by another 3 weeks. I have constantly been following up to get a delivery date, but the only feedback you get is a automated response, that a ticket has been opened, and nothing else. When you call them, they put you on hold, until the line cuts out. Seriously the worst service I have ever seen.
I spoke to Delano, and his professional attitude was a welcome surprise. He was able to answer any and all questions I had, and dealt with my query immediately. He is definitely an asset to your organization.
Arrived for lunch, and sat on the deck next to the river to enjoy the view, and waited about 30mins for a waiter. Eventually we had to go find one that would be willing to help us. He then told us that we cant sit on the deck, as it has been booked out by another party. Even though they were more than willing to accept our R3000 for the room for the night, we were now unable to enjoy the facilities. We left it there as we didnt want to cause a scene and went to sit inside. Long story short, the lunch service was terrible. When we got to our room, the toilet couldnt flush. The bridespair's room (Executive suite) where the bride got ready for the wedding, was not cleaned, and they got back to a honeymoon suite filled with plates and dirty and messy. The next morning the breakfast service was also a complete disaster where NOTHING was organised. We ended up having to eat cold breakfast. We then found foreign objects in the eggs, and at this point complained to the manager. He told us that whatever black plastic we found in the eggs it is not harmful or dangerous, so its not a problem. He also had an attitude of \just too bad"about all the other complaints. """
I have an account with Standard Bank that I keep my money in. This is not borrowed from them, it belongs to me. I have to pay investors from this account, and sometimes I need to increase the electronic payment limit depending on the amount I have to pay out. I now have to pay investors amounts that is over my current limit. Yesterday, the Standard Bank systems were having problems, so they could not increase this limit. Today, same story. They told me it could take ANOTHER 48 hours! Everyday I delay payout to these investors, I have to pay them more interest, since it is calculated daily. Since the incompetent people at Standard Bank, cannot sort this problem out, I cant pay MY money out of my own account, and this is costing me around R12,000 so far. When you tell them that this is costing you money, they shrug their shoulders as if it is a mickey mouse company. Be very very careful what bank you choose, it will cost you if you choose to go to Standard Bank.
