I took out a warranty plan for my wife’s vehicle through one of your consultants and subsequently referred my wife to take out a service plan with Mondo. Today, when I took the vehicle in for a service, I was informed that there is a duplication of cover. I am Dr. Sello Mukhari, and I am dismayed by Zestlife's unjust business practices. In 2013, I obtained a gap cover from them for a car. Over a year later, I exchanged the car for another without informing Zestlife. Nevertheless, I honored the 72-month agreement, which ended in 2019, as per my contract with Standard Bank, the financier of the car. Zestlife was permitted to debit my account only during that timeframe. Despite this, Zestlife has persisted in deducting R300 from my account since the agreement's conclusion. Upon contacting their call center, I was not given a clear explanation, only that I should have notified them to terminate the contract—a contract that had already expired in 2019. Additionally, the call agent tried to update my details, which I disputed since I no longer hold a legal contract with them. I have voiced my concerns about this ********* practice, which verges on ***** and *******ion. I am currently waiting for their resolution. In the interim, I have instructed my lawyers to initiate litigation preparations.
