I bought Court Tekkies for my Daughter at Tekkie Town in Herm****. After 2 months in wearing these tekkies, the smell of the material of the shoes was very bad. I washed them numerous times, bought different products that was advised, but still the smell would stretch a metre or more further after all the treatments. I gave my daughter my Nike tekkies to wear and eventually got her hi-tec tekkies and there is absolutely no odor coming from any of these two brands. I drove 30 km to Herm**** and took the tekkies back to Tekkie Town to complain about the shoes that smells and left it to be reviewed by the manager. The purchase was within the 6 month warranty period. Tekkie Town phoned me back and said the Manager spoke to Asics Head office and they said over the phone they will not replace the tekkies or refund them. This was my very first purchase with Asics as I have only read good things about the brand and thus me purchasing the much needed correct court netbal tekkie for my 11 year old daughter. I am disapointed as a retailer myself I do believe to give the customer the best experience when shopping with us and try to resolve the problem. In this case it seems there was a telephonic decision made not to help us.
I did a quote online for goods to be collected form jhb to cpt. Quote was R1423.62. On 29/03/2021 I did a quote online for goods to be collected in JHB. I was quoted R1423.62. I had R1150 in credit in their account and realized I will have to top up to enable upliftment. I paid in another R800 as this would cover the costs of R1423.62 and then I would have some more credit left. I emailed the proof of top up to their online services and requested that they confirm receipt and that all was in order for upliftment. no reply. My supplier phoned today (two days later after making payment). Parcels still hasnt been uplifted and they are closing early. I phoned the manager he said he will find out but according to them the parcel will only be in cpt on the 6th of April. I then got a message from my supplier. The courier guys uplifted the stock and they send a waybill number. I phoned the courier guy again and they said the goods will be at the depot in cpt tomorrow 2 April and I can collect there before 1. (I need to drive 300km) to collect the goods I paid for to be delivered. I then received a waybill from the courier guy today amounting to R6514.52 and they are holding my stock untill i pay the balance??? This is not the quote I accepted and paid for.
Recieved call from telkom mobile that i can upgrade 2 of my contracts. I went to Summerset Mall branch that is the closest as we stay 60km from the nearest Telkom branch. We signed contracts and telkom sales person said we should wait 3 hours and come back to fetch the phones. After hanging around 3 hours he said there was a problem and that he would get back to us asap. We waited till the next day and no call from them. We then drove all the way back to Somerset West from Kleinmond after 2 days . The sales rep then told us he is still waiting to find out whats happening and will get back to us the following day. Again no comminacation from him. We also emailed him several times with no response. They do not even have a number to dial at the branch ?? The number they gave goes to voice mail and no one ever gets back to you. We then drove to the branch again after 5 days of no feedback. Then the rep said there systems are off and he can only phone us back the next day. Same answer still no sullotion , i then asked for the manager and same answer as always ,manager is not available today. I then went back again yesterday were the sales rep was out . No one could help ???
