I bought a pair of Gel Cumulus 26’s in December. I have make done 100km’s on the shoes. I use them for walking as I have foot issues and these are supportive. They were R4000.00 which is expensive for a pair of shoes. This brand has always been known for good shoes but I severely disagree. The bottom of the shoe is completely smooth leaving me with absolutely zero grip. I would understand if I was running long distances and had put many Km’s into these shoes but I have not and they have lasted less than a year. I am disgusted in the service that I have received from their customer service line. You should want to uphold your name and help a customer out when they receive a faulty product.

I bought a pair of Asics Gel Kayano 31 Cool Matcha/Light Celadon shoes for my daughter November 2024 at almost R4000 for the pair of shoes. She has hardly done running with them. If she did 80km in total it was alot. Her rubber soles are falling off and they refuse to fix or replace them. She cannot wear the shoes like this as it makes her shoes very slippery. She has not done trial running only gym work and running 5km max at a time. Asics can definitely learn a lesson from FOM when it comes to customer service and poor workmanship. I WIL NOT RECOMMEND ASICS TO ANYONE.

I bought an expansive pair of asics shoes at sportmans warehouse on the 2/11/2024, knowing from past experiences that this brand of shoe is sufficient quality and would service me for a long time. In April 2025 I notice some damage starting to show , first only on the one shoe making me think that I could of damaged it some how but then after a while the other shoe also started showing the same damage. Because I live 2hours away from the nearest store, it was only possible to take in the shoes for complaint on the 30/5/2025. The store took the shoes and send it back to the supplier for inspection afterwhitch the store contact me with the news that the supplier willnot be exchange the shoes because it is outside of the 6month period. I then explained to the lady that I live far away from the store and although it is only 28 day's over the 6months period, that tipe of damage does not appear overnight. The damage started before the 6month period was over but because I live far away it was not possible the bring in earlier. I am very disappointed in Acics SA and please note that you have lost a client for life. When you spend a fortune on shoes one should expect it to last a long time, ontherwise I can go for cheaper brands and wear new shoes every 6monts. Never in my life will me or my family buy asics, unless you make it right.

Worst customer experience EVER!!!.. not due to poor agents answering the calls (only getting to speak to someone after you get a contact number at a pickup depot)... ask to speak to a "team leader "... but they don't take incoming calls???... request call back... nothing still after 4 days... bought hockey shoes end of November... starter tearing mid Feb... trying to replace or refund as shoes are needed... feedback.... can't return as "used & normal wear & tear" ... firstly contacted manufacturer who blatantly said not their issue or fault... take it up with seller, who now is refusing to refund or replace 2 month out of season shoe as it is due to "normal wear and tear "... so asics hockey boots last 2 months only... for R3 400....

Absolutely pathetic service from Asics!!!! I reached out to Asics in Access Park Kenilworth on 20th of November with an issue that I found to be a problem. A netball takkie that just lasted a few months where all other Asics that we've bought have last led significantly longer. This to me showed an issue with that specific "model". They advised that I reach out to head office. I then got hold of Asics SA on their Facebook page on the 25th of November. Follow up after follow up, theu kept saying "we're waiting for feedback" I've since sent TWO messages with Absolutely no reply. As the consumer, why should I have to run to you for responses??? Let alone me sending messages and blatantly getting ignored. I expect to hear back from Asics, with a proposal in sorting out my initial query ASAP. I've been a loyal Asics supporter for the last 15 years. My daughter and my wife have always used it. But im starting to think otherwise unless we can come to a resolve

WARNING: Potential ****! Please Read 1. Customer Service Nightmare: Dealing with their customer service has been a frustrating experience. They take ages to reply, and when they finally do, their responses are unhelpful at best. They often promise, "We will get back to you," but that never happens. You’ll find yourself constantly chasing for updates. 2. Lost Order Drama: It’s been nearly three months since I placed my order, and despite my endless emails asking for updates, the last response I received was that my package was lost. They offered me a measly 40% refund, even though I never received the item! And honestly, any major company, especially Asics, should have insurance for lost packages. Here’s a snippet of their email: Dear customer, We got reply from the shipping agent, your parcel was released from customs already, but they can not find the package now, it's lost. Sorry for the trouble. In this case, we would like to give the 40% refund to you. Hope you can understand we're out of control after goods is shipped out. We also have loss on this order, such as shipping, product and manual cost. If yes, we will proceed the refund immediately. Best Regards, Customer Service Department In conclusion, if you're considering purchasing from Asics SA, do so at your own risk. This has been my experience, and I personally cannot recommend or support Asics brands anymore.

I bought Court Tekkies for my Daughter at Tekkie Town in Herm****. After 2 months in wearing these tekkies, the smell of the material of the shoes was very bad. I washed them numerous times, bought different products that was advised, but still the smell would stretch a metre or more further after all the treatments. I gave my daughter my Nike tekkies to wear and eventually got her hi-tec tekkies and there is absolutely no odor coming from any of these two brands. I drove 30 km to Herm**** and took the tekkies back to Tekkie Town to complain about the shoes that smells and left it to be reviewed by the manager. The purchase was within the 6 month warranty period. Tekkie Town phoned me back and said the Manager spoke to Asics Head office and they said over the phone they will not replace the tekkies or refund them. This was my very first purchase with Asics as I have only read good things about the brand and thus me purchasing the much needed correct court netbal tekkie for my 11 year old daughter. I am disapointed as a retailer myself I do believe to give the customer the best experience when shopping with us and try to resolve the problem. In this case it seems there was a telephonic decision made not to help us.

I bought the asics nimbus 25 for R2500 at atterbury on the 4th of May 2024.i ran with it for approximately 300km and the shoe is now torn on the top. I phoned them to explain and they told me to bring the shoe. I explained to them that I stay in Johannesburg and I can't drive there, can I not send a picture and they said no. I drove there today and kagiso did an assessment and concluded that it is not because of the size. I told them I had a nimbus 25 which I got from totalsport and it didn't do this. So Caroline, the manager told me to bring that one and I told them I will not drive to Pretoria again. I left the shoe at the shop. I'm really disappointed with the service I got. I ran comrades with this shoe and it was a good shoe.Spending so much money on a shoe that lasted me for almost 2months is heartbreaking.
