Sibusiso Mashele was very responsive to my needs and tailor made my portfolio for my house and car insurance. He was timely and responsive.
Hi there - https://www.keenbootssouthafrlca.com is a **** site - note that Africa has an "l" not an "i"! This site had me fooled up till checkout. There seem to be a number of **** Keen websites, and they are not easy to spot. The only indication to me was at checkout when a poorly written sentence in English was my tip-off.
Beware of buying from third party suppliers through takealot: "Linking to third party websites.... Takealot will not take any responsibility for anything that goes wrong with buying through this method - purchased a refurbished laptop with ongoing intermittent problems - stuck without a laptop for the second month while it is returned the second time - the supplier now wants to deal directly with me to replace it with another one - probably not the same make, model, specs. I will never deal with Takealot again. And you never receive an email or speak to the same person twice.
The accommodation I booked through Afristay was excellent - good value for money and true information. The Afristay site was easy to use.
Excellent a Subaru service since this business is independent and driven by passionate Subaru people.
I took my subaru in for a major service close to 200 000 km. They did the full cam belt change etc. And kept phoning me with things that needed to be done. At R35 000 I called a stop since I was out of money. Then two weeks later, fortunately driving slowly, the drive belts and shaft between the engine and the radiator literally fell apart, They claimed that a key inside had sheared and then the bolt worked loose. But this is all taken apart when doing the major service. Second opinions subsequently have confirmed that this was entirely their fault. I had to get the vehicle towed and they fixed it at my expense. Now there has been a serious problem with my fuel line. When they did the major service they broke something, tried to glue it. And now 5 months later it failed. I have been two weeks without a car while the problem has been diagnosed. I will never use Thorp in any form for any car again. I feel that they tried to make as much money out of me as possible and also did very shoddy workmanship. Trust in Thorp = zero.
Pay My Fine sms me that a fine is due from over 8 months ago! I am fully aware of the speed restrictions on that route and know that I was not traveling at 110 km per hour in that 80 km per hour zone. I have checked that I did not incur a fine using the online official system to check my fines - PayCity. Looking at the experience of others on HelloPeter, Pay My Fines seems to be a scam. Pay My Fines must have access to the camera information of the local police in Swellendam since I drove the road that day and at that time - the traffic police seem to be leaking sensitive information to the scammers - how is this allowed?
