I have had this time share for close to 30 years. There has been no issues until the end of 2022. For over the past 10 years I have chosen the rental pool option. At the beginning of every year I would need to send an email to be included in the rental pool option. I would sometimes receive a confirmation and at other times not receive a confirmation. Regardless of this I would still receive my rental income. For 2023 and 2024, I did not receive a confirmation. When I checked this month, I was advised that no email was received. After submitting proof of my email, I was advised that this could have possibly gone into spam and I was asked if I would like to get rid of my timeshare. i.e. dispose of. After querying a few more times, I was advised that the monies for 2023 was split up and no further monies was available. It appears that I will also not be sharing in the 2024. I have also requested that this matter be escalated and have had no feedback regarding this.
Telkom use the D-Link's DWR-720PW handsets. These use battery model BL-186-9C. I have two of these handsets. I need to replace these batteries. I went to the Cresta Telkom branch and was advised that they do not carry the battery. But I could replace the whole telephone that contains a new battery. Contacted D-Link to see where I could acquire these. batteries. Was advised that these batteries could be purchased at their offices in Centurion at R50-00 each. However a delivery cost of R100-00 would be incurred if couriered. Poor showing Telkom/D-Link.
Call logged 19 April 2024. Still awaiting the receipt of call numbers, hence this mail to hello peter. Price increase on all 4 lines as at 01 April 2024. I thought that this is an April Fools joke. But it is not. After 30 years Vodacom is unable to calculate fixed monthly deals for 24 months. Even with systems and data at hand. Home LTE that was take in 2022. No increase last year. However there is an increase this year. Other 3 lines were renewed between November 2023 and January 2024. When renewing the contracts I checked with the consultants and was advised that the prices would be the total amount that I would be paying for the next two years if I did not exceed the limits. This can be verified with your telephone calls. Two of the lines renewed are for airtime only. Hence there are not devices. On one of the lines renewed, I selected a flexi 140. This has now changed to a flexi 150. At the time of my call, I was asked to check the terms and conditions. However, me enquiring with the consultant, I think overrides that. Unless you are interested in addressing the issue and keeping your work ( honoring your contract ), then lets chat. This is very rare these days. Otherwise, hise behind your terms and conditions.
Took Delivery : 1 December 2022. We purchased two bed sets. Reported issue : 24 August 2023 1 bed set is perfect. The other is not. It has lost its firmness and become lumpy. Mattress Warehouse submitted my query to Sealy. Sealy requested pictures. I sent the pictures. From the picture you cannot see indentions on the bed that is causing the uncomfortableness. Hence Sealy's response was to wait for another two months and advise. It has been over a month and there has not been any improvement. Extremely poor service.
Renewed contract in December 2021. Was advise by the consultant that this price would be valid for 24 months. However 3 months later there is a price increase. Then what is the purpose of taking out a contract if the price can increase? The call desk advises me to check the "terms and conditions". I went on the advise of the consultant. Went to the re-opening of Vodaworld on 7 Dec 2018 to upgrade my current cell phone contract. After a long wait, I was advised that the stock had not arrived. The consultant took my details and advised that he would contact me when the stock would I arrive. There was a data deal that was only applicable to business. I also inquired if he could mail me the details required for opening a business account and similar deal applicable to individual. He advises that he would. To date I have not received any feedback. Today, 13 Dec 2018, I was in the area and decided to pop-in. I got allocated the same consultant as previously. I asked he why he had not contacted me. He was unsure if there was any stock and said that he would check if stock was available. The sale consultant at Vodaworld is unable to check stock levels from his/her computer. There are two warehouses and these have to be checked manually independently. This process sounds vintage for a new technology environment. After 45 minutes the consultant returns and advises that there is stock. I enquired how long the upgrade would take place and was advised that this dependent on the system used. Has I had not planned I going to Vodaworld and had other commitments I could not wait for an undisclosed amount of time to do the upgrade.
