I should have looked through all the reviews on here before purchasing anything from this company. I placed an order for a desk that cost R 2,299.00 excluding delivery on the 24th of may. Delivery was supposed to take place today, 01/06/2022, However, yesterday I had to phone them to enquire regarding this, as I had not received any tracking information as stated I would on the order confirmation. So, I get told the order was rejected...when I ask why, the consultant says she does not know, but she can see that there is stock. Then I am told I need to complete a refund request and wait 10 days to get my money back. I refuse and the consultant tells me that she has escalated the matter to her manager, who would contact me via email.....two hours later, nothing. So I phone again, this time I am told that an EFT option is available, and I need to send a bank confirmation letter through for the EFT to be done, which will take 48 hours. I do so and request a proof of payment. THEN....I receive a printout of something that is not at all a POP, and when questioning it, I am told that the refund has been processed and that what I received was a POP for the refund system. Again I respond that I do not accept this, as money was taken from me upon purchase, so I will not wait 10 days to be refunded. THEN....I am told that someone will contact me today...01/06/2022...No one has done so. I have sent emails, to which I am yet to receive a response and it is currently 14:30. BEST PART!!!! On said printout I received, the reason states "Incorrect Pricing"....so I go and check online...the price is now R 9,999 all of a sudden. So, dear Leroy Merlin, Please explain to me why I must wait 10 days to get my money back from you, when YOU are at fault here????
I took my car there to have a noise looked at on 28/03/2022, they came back with a ridiculous quote of R 50k, saying I need to replace the entire engine!!! I paid the inspection fee....which was obviously not even done properly....and declined the quote. Turns out, the noise is merely a damn worn out timing chain guide.
I booked my car in to have a noise checked out, received a quote for R 15,500, and was assured the problem will be fixed. The day I had to collect my car the noise was still there. My car has now been there for 2 weeks and it is still not fixed. If I do not phone, I hear nothing from them...and the only reply I get is that they are busy with it. This is ridiculous as they replaced parts that have nothing to do with the noise in the first place, and I have no idea when or even if my car will be fixed at all. I have emailed a complaint to cacacademy11@callacar.co.za as suggested by an agent on Toyota's website, and I have not received a response from them either.
