The worst medical aid ever! And the fact that I'm forced to use this medical aid irks me to the core. I'm on the Basic Plan, as that is all I can afford since your medical aid rates is like buying a plane ticket every month. I live in Paarl, but how the flying f#ck do you not have an ENT, Gynecologist, Orthopedic Surgeon, etc on your Network in my area? That means I either have to travel to the next town and lose a days work or pay the specialist thousands of Rands, on top of my monthly R2700 I already pay you? Why? Then I actually don't need to pay you. I can just pay the specialist his R1500 and keep my change. You are just useless in my life at this point in time. Please don't even give that automated reply✋🏽
I've been struggling for more than a week now with Telkom to update my profile/account. I kept on getting SMS'S stating my account was in arrears. I phoned them 6 times and they said they would escalate it to their Collections Department to advise that I have made payment so that my account should not be suspended. On 13 April I made the first call to the call centre. The consultant said it would take 24 to 48 hours. Yesterday they suspended my account. I phoned them and asked to speak to a supervisor. I've been waiting for a call back from the supervisor for 5 hours now. What's the point of paying for something if you can't even use it, with no clear answer as to when my issue will be resolved?
For the past few months my Game account went into arrears due to less working hours thus less pay due to the pandemic but RCS phoned me each month to make payment arrangement and each month I paid. Some months they would phone me to ask if I paid and to send them proof of payment because they couldn't see the payment. I would then phone Game and ask them if they received the payment and they could see the payment, so I couldn't understand why RCS could not see my payment. My installment was R1100 last month and I paid R2000 on the 24/07/2020, bringing my account into a credit. Yesterday, 03/08/2020 I went to Game Paarl to purchase a few goods of less than R700. The cashier told me there was a block on my account and she didn't know what it was as I had credit of over R3000. We tried to phone RCS but they were not answering calls and Game Customer Service couldn't help me cause they said they do not deal with accounts. I phoned RCS today and was told that because my account was short paid a few months back, my account was blocked. I told the guy that because I made payment and brought my account up to date I should have been able to purchase, he said no, I was supposed to phone them first to remove the block. I told him that's absurd as I was never informed of this or of a block on my account. I asked to speak to a manager and he put me through to Shannon (Team leader) who told me that all Game clients were automatically allocated with a payment holiday of 1 month, which resulted in a block on client's accounts. I told him that was not the case as I was never offered payment relief or accepted such, and if that was the case why would RCS be phoning me to make payment arrangement each month? He said there was no communication to clients, it was all automatic and I was supposed to phone to have the block removed. How do you remove something that you didn't even know existed? Then he wants to tell me that I shouldn't go purchase at Game, as the block takes 24hrs to remove. What kind of customer service is this? I would actually also like to inform the NC if this is how you running this circus
I had my daughter's 5th birthday party there and it was a wonderful and memorable day. All the kids enjoyed the animals, especially the fact that they could feed them. They could run around free and safe throughout the whole enclosure, with jungle gyms and slides to keep them busy too. The staff are very organised and set everything up for us in the lapa. The other thing I also appreciated was that you could bring your own catering. The reptile show was phenomenal and the kids loved the interaction with the different animals. Definitely 10/10 and so affordable, even for a day trip. I would recommend this place to all parents.
