Cake Complaint

What a horrible experience! Ordered a cake for R1400 for a 45th birthday. The icing had some terrible food colouring, melted within minutes of being outside. The icing colour (black ) dyed everyone’s lips and hands. Quite embarrassing for a grown ups party. Also ended up eating half the cake as we had to cut Out all the pieces that had the terrible icing. And all We got is “we are sorry, production will look into it” not good enough from my opinion…

Do not buy the genesis iron from Verimark

In October 2018, I bought a so called brilliant "Genesis" Iron from verimark. For a price of R700 you would expect to get a descent iron . To my surprise by July 2019 the Iron stopped working for no reason. Got it fixed with verimark via warrant. Now 6 months later again the Iron stopped working. I won't bother to get it fixed again but would advise the retailer to discontinue this brand as it's just a waste of time and money for the consumer. I've seen alot of other negative comments which I wish I read before purchase.

Double charged on instant loan initiation fee

On 16 November I submitted a review on absa. No response to date. All you get is an automated email. Looks like I'l join the masses and move to FNB. This is ridiculous. I've been too loyal

Double charged on instant loan initiation fee

On the 13th of October I applied for a 3000 instant loan with ABSA online. The conditions of the loan was repayment of full amount with extra initiation fee of 342 on the 26th of October. But to my surprise the 342 was deducted almost the same day. And again when ABSA deducted the repayment on the agreed day they still deducted the amount of 3342 meaning the initiation fee was deducted twice. I've been calling absa been to their branch no-one is able to assist me. In addition instant loan deductions do not reflect as a payment in your bank statement instead they feedle with ur overdraft balance so it's not easy to pick up but luckily I worked out the difference on my available balance before and after the instalment went through and it was exactly 3342. The call centre agent told me that the initiation fee cannot be deducted before the agreed time but were still unable to help me. I'm tired of going back and forth without any help over a mere 342 but I refuse for absa to rob me off my hard earned money. I hope there will be someone who will attend to this.

Fraudulent transaction

I received a call from Vodacom a week ago claiming that they would like to put my contract on a cheaper rate. They requested to send new SIM cards which would then result in lower rates, they assured me that my number would stay the same. I agreed to this as they indicated a monthly saving of 300 on my account. I received the sim cards last week and when I contacted Vodacom regarding the set up they then told me that the saving story was a scam but surprisingly I'm actually being scammed by people working under Vodacom. Once again I was assured that the lines would be cancelled as I had also received 3sim cards which I never requested. Vodacom also confirmed that no funds would be withdrawn from my account. Clearly Vodacom has employed a bunch of liars and thiefs. Today my account has been deducted with 600 an amount I don't think they can justify. Dear Vodacom, the only contract I have with you is one contract that is deducted at our signed and agreed month end rate. I don't know how you fix this but I want my money ASAP.
