My insurance claim was rejected by the MTN insurance decided to reject my claim by insurance company because of these reasons "Unfortunately the Device was not used with the SIM Card or Cell Number that was issued with the device you insured just before the damage as required in the Policy Wording." After I notified them that I did a cellphone upgrade, and would be using a different cellphone on my old phone. Then they diagnosed my phone without inspecting it - how is that possible? What happened to insurance companies collecting phones and inspecting them before declining them? This is the worse service I have received from MTN - can't be paying insurance for for many years that I can't even put a claim through - because of technicalities I am so livid.
We booked our new year holiday with Dikhololo in September 2021 for the 31st of December weekend. The issue started on our check in day, we were contacted earlier in the day so say that they couldn't find our booking (They also stated that lodge was fully booked), then they wanted to give us a 2-bedroom chalet for 3 couples and kids - which was unacceptable as our booking was done in Sept and confirmed. We had to wait for hours and lot of telephone calls and arguing taking place between them and us, for them to eventually tell us they eventually have a 3-bedroom chalet available. When we finally checked in the “3-bedroom” seemed like a 2 and half room chalet, it wasn't as advertised on the website – they could’ve advised that their 3-bedroom was for a family with kids and not 3 couples. On the 31st evening the white security man came to tell us we were noisy (and they could hear our music from the dam)- which we tried to explain the music wasn't that loud as some of our white neighbors were also paying music but were not harassed or requested to lower/switch off their music. He was rude and asking us if we read the rules when we checked in, which we responded – with we did as we signed for it. We lowered our music again and closed the sliding door. Then he came back with a black security to tell us the music was still loud, and we should switch it off. As clearly it seem that we don’t understand or comprehend English. The treatment we received at Dikhololo was unpleasant as much the activities were fun for the kids, as adults we had to deal with uncomfortableness and funny remarks/comments from a couple our fellow white guests. Equality is not expressed nor exercised beside all the other black workers working there. Our wonderful holiday turned into a very unpleasant experience, and would I recommend Dikhololo to anyone I know – NOOOO I would NEVER recommend it at all to anyone.
NEWSFLASH: A colleague of mine went to Spar in Ghandi Square and purchased a Spar brand Pineapple Juice, 1L. She left in a hurry as to catch the bus and did not take note of Spar's lack of Stock Rotation. At work, she had a glass and thought it was just too acidic. She then poured one of my staff member a glass and after an hour, she ended up with diarrhoea and she had sores on her pallet. We then contacted Spar Customer Service and was told by Glenda that she needs to go to the doctor to get proof of that the juice is the course of her sores, with such a disgusting attitude and rudeness.Only then, could they reimburse her for the expired stock. She then asked Bonga (The so called manager)at Ghandi Square if he can look at the cameras or the till readings. Bonga said that the cameras are not working and promised to get back to my colleague regarding the till slips at 09:00 but oh well guess what - they never called.DID I MENTION THAT THE EXPIRY DATE IS THE 29 MARCH 2015 BUT GUESS WHEN SHE BOUGHT THE JUICE:16 APRIL 2015.I find it absolutely appalling and disappointed that a customer is treated in this manner and no responsibility was taken by Spar nor the manager. Not even an apology
