They tried to **** me pretending to be Gems medical aid. The consultants name was Jeffrey. He wanted my account number and perusal sadly I gave them but refused when he said gems will deduct from my account an amount of 300 something saying it's a gap benefit

My insurance claim was rejected by the MTN insurance decided to reject my claim by insurance company because of these reasons "Unfortunately the Device was not used with the SIM Card or Cell Number that was issued with the device you insured just before the damage as required in the Policy Wording." After I notified them that I did a cellphone upgrade, and would be using a different cellphone on my old phone. Then they diagnosed my phone without inspecting it - how is that possible? What happened to insurance companies collecting phones and inspecting them before declining them? This is the worse service I have received from MTN - can't be paying insurance for for many years that I can't even put a claim through - because of technicalities I am so livid.

So I had my phone stolen and reported to insurance mtn-guard risk so I can claim. I was told the value of the phone was R27000 I need to pay 10% of that value as excess which I paid. But now I'm being offered a phone of the value of R13000 which is a downgrade and basically half the price. I questioned this and now it's just silence 💔 no one returns emails all of a sudden and when I call I'm told the issue has been escalated. Having my phone stolen was such a traumatic experience and now I have to deal with this type of treatment from the insurance. I pay so much for the insurance only to be treated like this it's very frustrating. I just want the same phone or a phone of similar value.

Hello Peter Risk guard is sending from pillar to post, now I am talking with Zack Moolman, he requested proof of payments and statements which I sent him now he requested my bank to send him prove which they did. Everyday he wants prove that I have already provided I have ran out of patience now Please help

Hello Peter I haven't received any help from Risk Guard Alliance I have been talking to Andre who I believe is trying to help me but the company is not willing to refund me my money. They have all prove of payments and the dates but nothing is happening Please help

RiskGuard is not my regular insurance, this was a third party claim. A claim from the 22nd of July 2020 has still not been settled as of the 18th of September 2020! The quotation that they have approved but still not paid out for says the repairs will take four days, however, they refuse to give me a car as they do not pay car hire. I can't use my car hire option from my insurance as the claim is not with them. I will never recommend RiskGuard to anyone!

I put in a claim for my daughters phone her screen is damaged , mtn first declined the application with giving a reason after re submitting a dispute they declined the claim again now with reason that the sim card issued with the phone was not in usage the email comes through from Tamiak no contacts so i cant even reach her so we can discuss the email she sent i have been struggling to get through to MTN, to their service provider guard risk as well . i even sent an email to their thei arbitrator who never gets back to you Buyisiwe.hlatshwayo@guardrisk.co.za the contract clearly states the details of mobile device to be insured has two numbers registered i have even ask Vincent the guy who did the application and he said i can register 2 alternative numbers . MTN is trying all ways not to pay the claim. what is the point of us end uders to take out insurance when we cant get assistance its robbery
